The good thing, is that the week isn’t over. Week 3 of the NFL season continues with one more game as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Chicago to take on the Bears. With Caleb Williams sidelined for the next few weeks, the Bears have to look to the bench. Tyson Bagent has cleared the concussion protocol, so now Chicago can decide between him and Case Keenum. Regardless of who starts the game under center, this does give the Eagles more of an edge than they already had. As of Sunday night, the Eagles were favored by four points in a game that’s expected to be low-scoring with an over/under of 41.5. Let’s jump into our Monday night DFS picks.

MNF Notes
Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
I’m going to try this again, Barkley. I was in on him last week, but a stinger meant he finished with four carries and two catches for a combined 20 yards. That’s a week after he averaged 5.5 yards per carry in Week 1. It’s another good matchup for Barkley. The Bears rank 25th against opposing running backs on DraftKings, so it’s a good situation. Following an extra day, Barkley has the all-clear from the health perspective, so let’s look for him to score his first touchdown of the season.
Devonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
Not only is AJ Brown no longer around, but now Dallas Goedert is injured. That means Smith is truly the center of Philadelphia’s passing game. Last week, after Goedert exited, Smith caught 10 of his 13 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown. There are no issues with Smith’s hamstring, and it’s clear that Jalen Hurts will focus his efforts on looking for Smith down the field.
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
What do we do with Loveland? From a DFS perspective, the answer is simple: ignore him. In seasonal leagues, we don’t have the same luxury, but here, it’s not worth the risk in most situations and formats. For the season, Loveland has one catch for three yards on five targets. And things aren’t getting any easier as the Eagles have allowed the fewest DraftKings points to opposing tight ends this season.
Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles
Just because there’s a clear chemistry with Hurts and Smith, it doesn’t mean he’s the only receiver to target. Hurts has quickly established a chemistry with Wicks. Through the first two weeks of the season, Wicks has seven catches for 147 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets.
Kalif Raymond, Chicago Bears
The focus in the Chicago receiving game is always going to be on Luther Burden and Rome Odunze. That’s not to say we should ignore them, but Raymond has been featured front and center in the first two weeks of the season. He’s yet to find the end zone, but Raymond was targeted nine times in Week 1 (eight catches for 84 yards) and five times in Week 2 (five catches for 40 yards). His price hasn’t caught up with the target share, so take note.
D’Andre Swift, Chicago Bears
While the Bears do have a two-headed approach to their backfield, it’s Swift who is front and center. He began the season carrying the ball 18 times for 124 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1. Swift did find the end zone again in Week 2, but he was limited to just 45 yards on 16 carries. To be fair, the weather was an issue, and it essentially took the passing game off the table. The running back did save the day with five catches for 54 yards. So far this season, we’ve gotten quantity and quality from Swift.
