Entering the 2023 season third base was extremely top-heavy and lacked depth. Many fantasy analysts urged us to grab a top option before the well ran dry. Our 2024 Consensus Third Base Rankings do not leave one with that same feeling at all.
Young players like Gunnar Henderson, Elly De La Cruz, Royce Lewis, and Josh Jung announced their presence with authority in 2023 and there seem to be several more young stars on the verge of joining them.

2024 Consensus Third Base Rankings
These third base rankings below are based on 5×5 rotisserie scoring. We used 20 games played in 2023 as the threshold but were liberal if we thought a player would spend time at the position in 2024. Make sure to check your league rules to see who’s eligible in your league. We also have a searchable tool where you can view all 2023 Games Played by Position data.
These rankings will be updated as news occurs so make sure to check back as draft day nears.
