Fantasy football gets tricky around this time of the season. Overall, multiple players will be repeated within this column, which sounds repetitive. I’d rather give correct choices than random “dart throws” to sound smart. In Week 9, the running back starts were perfect with Chase Brown and Tony Pollard. Pollard finished as the RB12, and Brown was the RB4. For quarterbacks, Bo Nix and Patrick Mahomes were the ones who started. Nix was the QB14, and Mahomes had his first QB1 finish since Week 1. For sits, CJ Stroud and Kyler Murray were labeled sits and finished as the QB24 and QB30, onto Week 10 and one step closer to the playoffs.
Week 10 Quarterback Starts
Daniel Jones @ Carolina Panthers
Daniel Jones excelled in Week 9 with a top-five finish. It was his second top-ten finish, and his fourth QB1 finish this season. The Carolina Panthers allow the fourth most fantasy ppg to the quarterback position. A few seasons ago, Daniel Jones won leagues for people, and he has a shot to do that this season. He has a fabulous schedule that began last week and continues in Week 10. A healthy Malik Nabers and Tyrone Tracy will help Jones have a second consecutive QB1 finish. With quarterbacks like Jordan Love and Geno Smith on a bye week, Jones is a nice choice to start.
Sam Darnold @ Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars allow the most fantasy ppg to quarterbacks and 19 passing touchdowns, the most in the NFL. Darnold has had four QB1 weeks this season and is the QB14 in total points currently. My hot take for Week 10 is that Darnold has his first top-five finish since a Week 2 battle against the San Francisco 49ers and finishes as the QB1 overall. Darnold is my favorite start in all of the starts and sits. I think Darnold throws for over 250 yards with four touchdowns to go along with that. Do not hesitate. Fire up Darnold wherever you roster him.
Quarterback Sits
Kyler Murray vs. New York Jets
Kyler Murray finds himself on the sit side of starts and sits for a second consecutive week. He is too busy getting all his attachments for his guns in Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 and facing tough defenses, too. Last week, Murray finished as the QB30 and did not even reach five points. He faced the Chicago Bears last week and now faces the New York Jets in Week 10. The Jets are allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy ppg to quarterbacks. As a desperate team trying to salvage their season, I think the Jets crush the Cardinals and shut down Kyler Murray. Pivot towards other options.
Jayden Daniels vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Jayden Daniels, a rookie, has taken the NFL by storm and is already viewed as one of the best quarterbacks in football. Despite that, he has one of the toughest matchups for quarterbacks this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have the best coach in football and are allowing the second-fewest fantasy ppg to quarterbacks. The Steelers have allowed just ten touchdowns to nine interceptions and not even 100 total rushing yards to quarterbacks this season. Although Daniels has been one of the better fantasy choices this season, I cannot find myself starting him against the Steelers.

Week 10 Running Back Starts
Tyrone Tracy Jr @ Carolina Panthers
This is a system play. Any running back playing the Carolina Panthers is an automatic start. Tyrone Tracy Jr gets his turn against the worst run defense in football. The Panthers are allowing the most fantasy ppg with 31.42 and a league-leading 13 rushing touchdowns. Tracy is almost certain to find the endzone in Week 10 and be a RB1.
Rhamondre Stevenson @ Chicago Bears
In his last four games, Rhamondre Stevenson has finished as a top-seven running back THREE times. Stevenson is on a bad Patriots team and is forgotten about just how good he can be for fantasy football. He gets a bottom 12 defense in fantasy ppg to running backs, the Chicago Bears. This game feels like it will be a defensive battle, with the running backs being relied on more than they usually expect. With five touchdowns in his last four games, Stevenson is catching fire at the right time.
Running Back Sits
Tony Pollard @ Los Angeles Chargers
Tony Pollard was a start for me last week, but this week, the challenge is too steep. The Chargers are one of the better defenses in football, allowing the second-fewest fantasy ppg to the running back position. They have also allowed just two touchdowns to the position. The only hope Pollard has is his pass-catching ability, as the Chargers have given up 40 receptions this season to running backs, but the challenge is too hard to start him.
Brian Robinson vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Brian Robinson has not seen a snap share over 50% since Week 5. He also has not finished as an RB1 since Week 4 and now faces a defense allowing 81 rushing ypg and five total touchdowns in eight games to running backs. With Robinson missing Week 9 due to injury, it is safe to leave him on your bench and see what happens. This is his toughest match of this season, and I’d rather have him on my bench than give you five fantasy points in Week 10.
