Fantasy Football 2025: Week 6 RB Rankings

Yet another huge injury happens as we check back into my Week 6 RB rankings. Now, Omarion Hampton is expected to miss at least four games with an ankle sprain. The rookie was starting to look like a league winner before going down last week. Now the question is, do you pick up one of the Chargers’ backups or go after someone else on the waivers? You will find the answer down below.

Running Back Notes

  • Let’s start with the Buccaneers backfield in Rachaad White as my RB20 and Sean Tucker as my RB41. Bucky Irving is likely to miss Week 6 with not only a foot sprain but also a shoulder subluxation. Last week, it was White who got all the work, ending the day with two red-zone rushing touchdowns. However, White only had 41 rushing yards on 14 attempts. Tucker only had three carries for three yards. White will likely be more involved in the passing game and redzone attack. But we have all seen Tucker go off before. Tucker could be a sneaky pickup, as it is most likely that White is already rostered. So, if you are in a deep league, I would take a risk on Tucker and hope he breaks one loose.
  • Next, I have Rico Dowdle as my RB11 going against the Cowboys. Chuba Hubbard could be back this week, but even if he is, I expect this backfield to be split 50/50. Signs look like Hubbard could miss Week 6, but time will tell as we get closer to Friday. But if he is out, then Dowdle is in line for a huge game against his former team. The Cowboys’ defense has been atrocious. They are giving up 22.5 fantasy points per game to RBs this season. I don’t expect Dowdle to have another 206-yard rushing performance. But he could come close to it. Dowdle is a must-start this week.
  • Lastly, I have TreVeyon Henderson as my RB30 this week against the Saints. Henderson bumps up a little, but Antonio Gibson tore his ACL and is out for the season. Henderson was the better runner over Rhamondre Stevenson, but Stevenson got the goal-line touchdowns. But this injury could be what Henderson needed. The backfield will still be split, but Henderson has a chance to make it his backfield. I would start him in the flex this week if you are dealing with injuries. Otherwise, he is still a player you want to bench until he gains more touches.
