NHL Injury Report for November 13th:
Auston Matthews, C – Toronto Maple Leafs
The Leafs wait to see how Auston Matthews is tomorrow, as injury is added to insult following third straight loss.https://t.co/7BbcK3q5Tt
— David Alter (@davidalter) November 12, 2025
Matthews left the game against the Bruins after taking a hit from Nikita Zadorov D. There has been no update on the extent of the injury or potential timeline for Matthews’ return. The expectation is that he will miss some time. It’s gameday for the Leafs, so expect an update later today.
Tavares will become the de facto number one center in his absence. After that, it will be interesting to see what Berube does. The Leafs can bump Nicolas Roy to the second line role, or they could move Max Domi to center. A third option would be to call up Jacob Quillan from the Toronto Marlies. Quillan is off to a strong start with 14 points in 13 games.
Matthews is a top 20 fantasy forward. Replacing him will be difficult.
Anthony Stolarz, G – Toronto Maple Leafs
ICYMI: Auston Matthews and Anthony Stolarz both left Tuesday's game with injuries

Tuesday night was not kind to the Leafs as Stolarz also left the game with an injury. At least with Stolarz, his injury does not appear to be that serious.
I’m expecting Dennis Hildeby to get the start against the Los Angeles Kings. Joseph Woll has played a second game for the Marlies, giving up 3 goals on 21 shots. Woll should be recalled to back up Hildeby and is closing in on making his Leafs debut.
Zach Hyman, LW/RW, Edmonton Oilers
Hyman injury update.
Won’t play in Philly on Wednesday.
Will make his season debut either in Columbus on Thursday or Carolina on Saturday. He is a for sure for Carolina and a possibility for Columbus. Hoping for Thursday but will depend on final test.— Jason Gregor (@JasonGregor) November 11, 2025
Hyman accompanied the Oilers on their three-game road trip this week. As expected, he did not play last night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
It is unclear at this point whether Hyman will make his season debut on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets or Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes. What is clear, Hyman’s return is imminent.
Adin Hill, G – Vegas Golden Knights
Friedman reports here that "word is Adin Hill is out a few months."
Cassidy confirmed today that Hill and Mark Stone remain out week-to-week. https://t.co/jZL15ep9I1

This is not good news for Hill owners, myself included. The duo of Akira Schmid and Carl Lindbolm leaves a lot to be desired. They did sign Carter Hart; however, he is not eligible to play until December 15th, at the earliest. Rough seas ahead for the Knights.
Thatcher Demko, G – Vancouver Canucks
Thatcher Demko is expected to miss 2-3 weeks with a minor injury, per @frank_seravalli
It's reportedly unrelated to Demko's previous knee injury and also unrelated to why he took maintenance days last week. pic.twitter.com/pFG10aAMsE

Demko left Tuesday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets after the first period and did not return. It is expected he will miss 2-3 weeks with the latest lower-body injury. There is no word on whether this injury is related to the one that kept him out of games for the better part of a year.
Frederik Andersen, G, Carolina Hurricanes
This should be no surprise to anyone who has played fantasy hockey in recent years. It was only a matter of when Andersen got hurt, not if. Well, here we are.
Andersen exited Tuesday’s game and did not return, apparently pulled under the league’s concussion protocol. This temporarily resolves the three-goalie problem. Pyotr Kochetkov and Brandon Bussi will hold down the crease.
That’ll do it for today’s NHL Injury Report from Fantrax. We’ll be back on Monday.
