NHL Injury Report for December 1, 2025
Adam Fox, D – New York Rangers
Early word on Adam Fox’s upper body injury is week-to-week, not longer term. Should not affect his Olympic availability.

Fox was on the wrong end of a hit from Brandon Hagel, LW, Tampa Bay Lightning, on Saturday night.
He’s listed as week-to-week with a possible separated shoulder. Fox is an elite offensive defenseman that you can’t go out and replace with a waiver claim. If you’re lucky, perhaps you can scoop Darren Raddysh, D, Tampa Bay Lightning, who is still unowned in 40% of Fantrax leagues.
There’s no clear replacement for Fox on the Rangers’ power play. It’s more likely they go with five forwards. Vladislav Gavrikov or Scott Morrow are the two most likely options to replace Fox. Still, Will Cuylle, LW, or Alex Lafrenière, LW/RW, are better offensive options.
Brady Tkachuk, LW – Ottawa Senators
FABIAN ZETTERLUND IS HEATING UP 🔥.
Zetts with an unreal effort from behind the net results in a #Sens LEAD and his third goal in the last four games!
Brady Tkachuk also draws an assist in his return on the goal! Welcome back Tkaptain! 🫡

The multi-cat king is back. made his return to the Senators’ lineup on Friday night.
It’s been vintage Brady in his first two games with 10 shots and eight hits. Only one assist isn’t a big deal. Brady missed a month of hockey; there’s going to be a bit of rust. He’ll find his full mojo over the next few games.
Mark Stone, RW – Vegas Golden Knights
.@GoldenKnights captain Mark Stone scored in his return to the lineup Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators after missing the past month with a wrist injury. https://t.co/ttm1hIjv0f

Stone also returned to game action last week. He scored a 3rd period goal to tie the game at three, but it wasn’t enough. The Knights lost in overtime. He’s now played three games and has a point in each one. He was red hot before the injury and has continued to roll. With 16 points in nine games, Stone’s absence has been sorely missed for the Knights.
Stone slots right back onto the second line and first power play unit. He’s an elite-lite fantasy option when healthy. I, for one, have sorely missed his fantasy points.
Lukas Dostal, G Â and Petr Mrazek, G – Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks are now down to Ville Husso as the incumbent starter with Lukáš Dostál and now Petr Mrázek out with injury.
The next options for Anaheim are Tomáš Suchánek and Vyacheslav Buteyets, Calle Clang is on leave for personal reasons.#FlyTogether https://t.co/K0J7QCoQ3v

The Ducks are expected to be without Dostal for 2-3 weeks. Now, it appears, Petr Mrazek, who was set to replace Dostal as the starter, was injured Sunday night on an innocent-looking scramble alone in his crease.
This is a huge blow for a team that has blown first-quarter expectations out of the water.
Ville Husso is the next in line to patrol the crease for the Ducks. Find a different option to replace Dostal; Husso has struggled in the NHL the past couple of years.
Jack Roslovic, RW – Edmonton Oilers

Roslovic will miss at least a couple of weeks. Luckily, he did not suffer any broken bones and has avoided long-term injury. With 17 points in his last 16 games, it’s been a nice little run for Roslovic. Let’s hope it’s closer to two weeks and he can pick up where he left off.
