Fantasy Hockey Week 15 Goalie Streamers

John Gibson, Detroit Red Wings

Due to the tandem work for the majority of the season, John Gibson is still available in many more leagues than he should be. You might not be as lucky, but the Detroit Red Wings’ starter has been one of the hottest goalies for a while. The Red Wings are also first in the Eastern Conference and have won three games in a row.

Gibson has won an amazing 12 out of his last 14 games and has a .921 SV% or better in five consecutive starts with a shutout in his previous start. Gibson has also started four games in a row, and the Red Wings have four games this week. These come against the Carolina Hurricanes and Boston Bruins in a back-to-back, the San Jose Sharks, and the Ottawa Senators. Four winnable games.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Buffalo Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres may not be talked about as loudly right now because their 10-game win streak came to an end, but that doesn’t mean they cooled off. The team has won 13 of the past 14 games, and you can bet they’re going to have a great chance to win, no matter what team they’re playing. With Alex Lyon injured, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is the starter and doing exactly what Buffalo needs from him.

Luukkonen has won five of his past six starts, posting a .912 SV% or better in every one of those wins. Not only has he been holding teams to a couple of goals at most, but the Sabres are also giving him run support every game. Luukkonen is up to a 2.63 GAA and .903 SV% on the season, and the Sabres have games against the Florida Panthers, Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, and Minnesota Wild this week.

Philipp Grubauer, Seattle Kraken

The Seattle Kraken continue to be hot out West, and it has been a tandem effort in net. Philipp Grubauer, who many rightfully believed was nearly done in the NHL after multiple years of struggles in Seattle, has flipped his career around and can’t seem to have a bad game.

Grubauer has had one game with a sub-.900 SV% in the last eight games, and he still stopped 34 shots and had an .895 SV%. The veteran has won four of his last five games with a .960 SV% or better, and he is being given every second start. That works just fine this week with four games on tap for the week against the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Bruins, and Utah Mammoth.
