Dynasty Football Market Risers & Fallers: Week 9
Trending Upward
Jonah Coleman | RB
Rookie running back Jonah Coleman‘s time has finally come. If you were able to buy low during his 4-week absence, you may have struck gold. The Broncos have operated with a committee featuring Coleman, J.K. Dobbins, and RJ Harvey throughout the first 8 weeks. However, with Harvey landing on IR and Dobbins struggling to produce, Coleman is beginning to take control of this backfield. Dobbins played a season-low 21% of the snaps in Week 8, while Coleman dominated with a 66% snap share. Despite facing a tough Chiefs defense, Coleman produced over 100 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.
Even before his injury 4 weeks ago, it was clear that Denver wanted to get Coleman more involved in the offense. Now that he’s healthy, we’re starting to see that plan unfold. Similar to Bhayshul Tuten before his breakout, Coleman appears to be entering the stage where his talent and opportunity are finally coming together. The buying window may already be closing, especially with Denver having a favorable rest-of-season schedule and playing on a competitive team. Coleman has the potential to become a difference-maker down the stretch, which could send his dynasty value soaring. However, rumors linking Jonathan Taylor to Denver could temporarily prevent his market from rising even further, giving dynasty managers one final opportunity to buy before his price becomes too expensive.
Tee Higgins | WR
Tee Higgins has been on an absolute tear this season and is on pace to shatter his previous career highs, potentially surpassing 1,500 receiving yards and reaching double-digit touchdowns. Higgins looks healthy and has benefited tremendously from having a healthy Joe Burrow throwing the football all over the field. Throughout his career, Higgins has typically been a receiver who produces around 950 yards per season, especially while sharing the field with Ja’Marr Chase. However, we’re witnessing what could be the best season of his career.
While Higgins is enjoying a career year, dynasty managers should consider taking advantage of his rising market value. He will turn 28 by the end of January 2027, and his current production could allow managers to command a significant return, especially from contenders looking to add an elite wide receiver for a championship run. Higgins also faces a difficult rest-of-season schedule, which could lead to some regression as the season progresses. We also can’t ignore his injury history, which has impacted his consistency in previous seasons. For rebuilding dynasty managers, this could be an ideal sell-high opportunity while Higgins’ value is approaching its peak.
Bhayshul Tuten | RB
If you took advantage of Bhayshul Tuten’s rising dynasty market a few weeks ago, you’re probably feeling pretty good about him right now. Tuten has taken another significant step forward, and his dynasty value continues to climb. He’s been explosive over his last 2 games while also seeing an increased role in the passing game. In fact, Tuten has recorded more receiving yards over the last 2 weeks than he did in his previous 5 games combined. He’s becoming an important piece of an elite offense that continues to thrive against opposing defenses.
His advanced rushing metrics also support his breakout, as he ranks inside the top 25 among running backs in explosive run rate and yards after contact per attempt (YACO/Att). He’s also seeing encouraging usage inside the 10-yard line and an improving target share, giving him multiple avenues to produce fantasy points. Just a few weeks ago, dynasty managers could potentially acquire Tuten for a late 1st-round pick. Now, his recent production and favorable rest-of-season schedule could push his value toward a mid-to-early 1st-round pick. Tuten’s market is becoming increasingly expensive, and if his role continues to grow, his price could climb even higher before the season ends.

Garrett Wilson | WR
Garrett Wilson has consistently been viewed as a high-upside dynasty wide receiver, largely because of his ability to command targets in the Jets’ offense. However, over the last few weeks, we’ve started to see other receivers emerge, including Omar Cooper Jr. and Adonai Mitchell. Despite seeing 12 targets in Week 8, Wilson was overshadowed by Mitchell’s breakout performance. With other receivers beginning to make an impact, Wilson’s weekly fantasy ceiling could become more difficult to predict.
This uncertainty could create an intriguing buying opportunity for dynasty managers. Wilson is still on pace for another season with around 1,000 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns, which has become his typical production. While his rest-of-season outlook could be frustrating, his long-term dynasty value remains strong, especially if the Jets eventually upgrade at quarterback. Wilson is still in his prime dynasty years and has already proven he can command a significant target share. Rather than panicking over a few disappointing performances, dynasty managers should look to buy the dip while his market value is trending downward. The talent hasn’t disappeared just a bad few game stretch.
Justin Jefferson | WR
Justin Jefferson has been a headache for dynasty managers this season, missing a game and finishing with fewer than 10 fantasy points in 3 of his 6 appearances. His chemistry with Kyler Murray has been a major concern, as the two haven’t consistently been on the same page. Jefferson is averaging just 9 fantasy points per game with Murray at quarterback, a significant drop from the elite production dynasty managers have come to expect. Even his 25-point performance in Week 1 came with Carson Wentz playing the majority of the game.
The biggest question for dynasty managers is whether this is the beginning of a legitimate buying window or if Jefferson’s value could fall even further before things improve. Managers could wait another week or two to see if his struggles continue, potentially creating an even better buying opportunity. However, if you still believe in Jefferson’s elite talent, this could be the time to start making offers. His long-term outlook shouldn’t be determined by one disappointing season or an inconsistent quarterback situation. The Vikings could eventually move on from Murray in favor of a better passing quarterback, which would significantly improve Jefferson’s fantasy ceiling. For rebuilding teams or contenders looking beyond 2026, buying Jefferson at a discount could turn into one of the better dynasty investments before his value rebounds.
