Fantasy EPL Draft – April EPL Fixtures
Here are the teams with the best set of EPL fixtures for April. Players on these teams have added value based on who they are playing.
Newcastle
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 30 | 4/2 | Brentford (H) | 11th |
| GW 31 | 4/7 | Leicester (A) | 19th |
| GW 32 | 4/13 | Manchester United (H) | 13th |
| GW 32 | 4/16 | Crystal Palace (H) | 12th |
| GW 33 | 4/19 | Aston Villa (A) | 9th |
| GW 34 | 4/26 | Ipswich (H) | 18th |
Newcastle, coming off their 70-year trophy drought, has perhaps the most favorable EPL fixture run in April with six matches ,including multiple home matches. They start with Brentford at home before traveling to Leicester. The Magpies then host Manchester United and Crystal Palace at St. James’ Park, where they’ve been particularly strong this season. Their away trip to Villa will be challenging, but they finish against Ipswich Town who have struggled defensively all season.
Alexander Isak continues his impressive goal-scoring form and should be considered a must-start through this favorable run. Bruno Guimarães has been the creative spark in midfield, while Kieran Trippier is back on the team where his set-piece delivery adds significant attacking upside to some potential defensive returns. Newcastle assets should be prime targets for fantasy managers looking to maximize points in April.
Manchester City
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 30 | 4/2 | Leicester (H) | 19th |
| GW 31 | 4/6 | Manchester United (A) | 13th |
| GW 32 | 4/12 | Crystal Palace (H) | 12th |
| GW 33 | 4/19 | Everton (A) | 15th |
| GW 34 | 4/28 | Aston Villa (H) | 9th |
Manchester City’s performances this year have them battling for a Champions League place versus their usual title charge. They have an important April ahead of them with 5 matches and some kinder fixtures. City starts with Leicester at home before the Manchester derby at Old Trafford, which, despite United’s struggles this season, always brings intensity. City then hosts Crystal Palace before traveling to face Everton, and finishes with Aston Villa at home.
Erling Haaland remains the centerpiece of City’s attack and a premium fantasy asset regardless of fixture. Omar Marmoush has had a positive start to the Premier League and should continue to be a strong asset for those who were able to snag him in January. Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne have had quiet years to their standards, but could switch it on to finish the year. With their top four being the minimum standard, expect City to be fully focused for this important stretch of fixtures.
These teams have just touched EPL fixtures in April, so be cautious when looking at players here.
Everton
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 30 | 4/2 | Liverpool (A) | 1st |
| GW 31 | 4/5 | Arsenal (H) | 2nd |
| GW 32 | 4/12 | Nottingham Forest (A) | 3rd |
| GW 33 | 4/19 | Manchester City (H) | 5th |
| GW 34 | 4/26 | Chelsea (A) | 4th |
Everton faces one of the most challenging schedules possible in April. After starting against Liverpool at Anfield in the Merseyside derby, they face a relentless run including Arsenal at home, Nottingham Forest away, Manchester City at home, and Chelsea away.
While David Moyes has rejuvenated this Everton side, this fixture list would challenge even the strongest teams in the league. Beto, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Jack Harrison have been in good form, but fantasy managers should temper expectations during this brutal run. Consider rotating your Everton assets during this challenging period unless they’ve proven to be truly fixture-proof.
Fulham
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 30 | 4/1 | Arsenal (A) | 2nd |
| GW 31 | 4/6 | Liverpool (H) | 1st |
| GW 32 | 4/14 | Bournemouth (A) | 10th |
| GW 33 | 4/20 | Chelsea (H) | 4th |
| GW 34 | 4/26 | Southampton (A) | 20th |
Fulham’s April looks daunting as they navigate through a gauntlet of top teams. They start with Arsenal away before hosting Liverpool at Craven Cottage. It doesn’t get much easier for Fulham as they meet Bournemouth and Chelsea before a reprieve with Southampton away to finish out April.
Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez have been crucial to Fulham’s attacking efforts this season, but both could see limited opportunities against Arsenal and Liverpool’s strong defenses. Antonee Robinson’s attacking runs and crossing ability make him a consistent points scorer, but clean sheets might be hard to come by against such strong opposition. Marco Silva will need to rally his troops through this difficult period as they look to maintain their position in the top half of the table.
Go with the best EPL fixtures. Good luck!
