CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List

Welcome to the CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List. Waivers have cleared, and your roster is set. Or so you think. However, there’s still value hiding on the G6 waiver wire, and that’s what this list is for.

First, we have two quarterbacks who can do damage with their legs. Next comes a running back who gets the money touches. Then there’s a freshman receiver with a dream matchup. Finally, I’m giving you two tight ends. Yes, two. Consider it a treat.

Two of these names also showed up in Monday’s Week 8 G6 Risers: Four Waiver Adds to Make Before Tuesday. If you already grabbed them, good for you. If not, here’s your second chance. Let’s get to the CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List.

Note: All advanced stats I provide throughout the article are pulled from g5hive.com.

There’s no such thing as too much football! 2026 is the perfect time to add the college game to your fantasy football repertoire. Whether you want to create your own league or join an existing league, the Fantrax College Football Commissioner is the place to go!

CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List

Quarterbacks

Owen Eshelman, Washington State

Fantrax Rostership: 15%
Total Fantasy Points: 43.2
Fantasy Points Per Game: 21.6 (6-point passing TDs)

Owen Eshelman got the start for Washington State last week, and he made the most of it. Against Oregon State, he threw the ball 49 times. He completed 32 of them for 289 yards. Along with that, he had two touchdowns and one interception.

The passing was only half the story, though. He also ran 15 times for 136 yards and a touchdown. Altogether, that added up to 43.16 fantasy points. That’s not a spot start. It’s a statement.

Now look at the matchup. Washington State plays Boise State in Week 8. The Broncos allow 25.55 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. In fact, that’s the third-worst mark in the PAC-12. As a result, Eshelman has a clear path to another big day.

Of course, one start is a small sample. Still, a quarterback who throws 49 times and runs 15 times is getting every chance to produce. Volume like that is gold in fantasy. So grab Eshelman and start him.

Evan Medders, Air Force

Fantrax Rostership: 20%
Total Fantasy Points: 80.1
Fantasy Points Per Game: 16 (4-point passing TDs)

Next up is Evan Medders. He took over at quarterback for Air Force after Liam Szarka got hurt. Since then, he has been a problem for defenses.

First, he ran 16 times for 114 yards and two touchdowns against NIU. Then he topped that last week against UNLV, with 18 carries for 152 yards and three touchdowns. Overall, he has six rushing touchdowns on the year. Even better, five of them came in the last two weeks.

That’s the beauty of the Air Force offense. The quarterback carries the ball, and he carries it a lot. Consequently, Medders has a rushing floor most running backs would envy.

This week, Air Force plays Wyoming. The Cowboys allow 23.36 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, so the setup is there for another strong week. In short, pick up Evan Medders and start him with confidence.

Running Back

Dominic Kelley, Nevada

Fantrax Rostership: 31%
Total Fantasy Points: 102.2
Fantasy Points Per Game: 17

Dominic Kelley shares the Nevada backfield with Herschel Turner. Without question, it’s a two-headed monster. However, Kelley is the head you want.

To start, look at the opportunity. Kelley’s weighted opportunity share is 76.94. Meanwhile, Turner sits at 49.64. Kelley also averages 16.5 touches per game, five more than Turner. On top of that, he averages 111.17 yards per game.

More importantly, Kelley gets the money touches. He has 15 red zone carries and four touchdowns. Additionally, his 10.7% target share leads the running back room. In other words, he’s involved on the ground, through the air and near the goal line.

Last week’s matchup against North Dakota State wasn’t one we loved. Even so, Kelley still put up 14.3 points. That’s a solid floor in a tough spot.

This week, things get much friendlier. Nevada plays San Jose State in Week 8. The Spartans allow 26.67 fantasy points per game to running backs, which gives Kelley real upside. That earns him a spot on the CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List, so feel free to pick him up this week.

Wide Receiver

Rasean Jones, Boise State

Fantrax Rostership: 30%
Total Fantasy Points: 71.5
Fantasy Points Per Game: 14.3

Remember Owen Eshelman? Now we’re targeting the other side of that game. Boise State plays Washington State in Week 8, and that’s good news for Rasean Jones.

The Cougars allow 39.83 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Specifically, they give up 26 points per game to the outside. That’s exactly where Jones lines up.

Granted, two receivers play on the outside, so those 26 points usually get split. Even so, Jones is the clear top option. He averages a team-high 6.8 targets per game. He turns those into 4.8 catches for 73.2 yards per game. Plus, his 21.5% target share on the season leads the team. Because of that, a majority of those outside points should go his way.

There is one thing to watch. Jones is coming back from a concussion. Personally, I expect him to return this week. If he’s cleared, fire up Rasean Jones. He was also in Monday’s Risers article, which makes him a repeat customer on the CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List.

Tight Ends

Now for the treat. This week, I’ve got two tight ends for you.

Cole Keller, James Madison

Fantrax Rostership: 25%
Total Fantasy Points: 73.5
Fantasy Points Per Game: 10.5

Last week, I highlighted Cole Keller and said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I expected four targets. Instead, he had two. Still, he caught both for 54 yards and nearly broke one for a touchdown.

Let’s be honest about Keller. He’s the fourth option on his team. That isn’t sexy by any means. Nevertheless, he’s posted 19, 11.1, 6.5, 20.8 and 7.4 fantasy points over his last five games. That’s dependable. For a laugh, check out my Risers article from Monday. I think I compared him to a minivan.

JMU plays App State in Week 8. Admittedly, the Mountaineers allow just 6.38 points per game to tight ends, so this isn’t a smash spot. Secondly, JMU only passes at a 38% rate. Camden Coleman gives you about 24 passes per game. J.C. Evans adds about six more as they rotate both quarterbacks. Evans is used more near the goal line, but he’ll still throw it every now and then.

Also, keep the schedule in mind. JMU plays App State tonight, so pick Keller up before kickoff.

Jake Wilson, Wyoming

Fantrax Rostership: 4%
Total Fantasy Points: 48.5
Fantasy Points Per Game: 6.9

If you need another option, look at Jake Wilson. Wyoming plays Air Force on Friday. Yes, that’s the same game as Evan Medders.

To be clear, Air Force is stingy against tight ends. They allow just 2.18 points per game to the position. However, Wilson is Wyoming’s top receiving option. He leads the team with a 22.5% target share. He also leads the team with four red zone targets. On top of that, his 4.57 targets per game are a team high.

Meanwhile, Tyler Hughes throws about 22 passes per game. As a whole, Wyoming relies on the passing game about 39% of the time. So this isn’t a pass-happy offense. Even so, Wilson is essentially the WR1. By comparison, Eric Richardson is the top true receiver. Yet he has just a 14.8% target share and two red zone targets.

Put simply, Wyoming doesn’t pass much. But when it does, the ball goes to Wilson. You have to like a team that uses its tight end as its main receiving option. So if you’re in a pinch, Jake Wilson rounds out the CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List.

CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List

Overall, this week is about roles you can trust. Eshelman and Medders both bring rushing floors at quarterback. Likewise, Kelley owns the red zone work in Nevada’s backfield. Meanwhile, Jones has a dream matchup if he’s cleared. Finally, Keller and Wilson give you two different paths at tight end.

Need a quarterback? Then start with Medders and Eshelman. Need a running back? Kelley is your add. After that, grab Jones for the best receiver matchup on the list. Lastly, pick up Keller before JMU kicks off, or turn to Wilson if you’re in a pinch.

That wraps up the CFF Week 8 G6 Sicko List. Get your pickups in, set your lineups and enjoy the chaos. Until then, good luck in your Week 8 matchups!
