Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Forwards for Week 14

Jordan Eberle, Seattle Kraken

Jordan Eberle has been playing very well offensively as of late, and it coincides with how well the Seattle Kraken have been playing, too, as they have stormed their way into a playoff spot. Eberle is on the top line and top power play, where he gets plenty of chances to produce, and he has been.

The Kraken captain has 14 goals and 27 points in 39 games this season, but is on a six-game point streak prior to action starting this week, where he’s scored four goals and seven points. Seattle plays the Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, and Minnesota Wild to close out this week.

Tyler Bertuzzi, Chicago Blackhawks

Tyler Bertuzzi was red hot for a while until he cooled off in the middle of December for six games. But he’s back and helping carry the offense of the Chicago Blackhawks while Connor Bedard and Frank Nazar are still sidelined. Bertuzzi leads the team in goals with 22 goals and is second in points with 34 in 39 games. Only two other players even have 10 goals – Bedard (19) and Ryan Donato (10).

Bertuzzi is on the top line and top power play, and it should stick that way for the rest of the season, even when healthy. In his last six games, the veteran winger has six goals and eight points, is shooting a lot, and is scattering in hits and blocked shots. The Blackhawks face the St. Louis Blues, Washington Capitals, and Nashville Predators this week, so a schedule on the easier side.

Bobby McMann, Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs are scoring more, and Auston Matthews is picking up his offense. Alongside him is Bobby McMann, who is benefiting from a boost in offense. He has four goals and eight points in his last eight games, recording at least a point in six of them.

McMann isn’t only able to produce offense recently, his game involves physical play as well. He shoots, hits, and gets in on the offense, so as long as he’s with Matthews, he should be able to contribute well enough in fantasy to make picking him up worth your while. The Maple Leafs match up against the Florida Panthers, Philadelphia Flyers, and Vancouver Canucks this week.
