It’s the final four EPL fixtures, as May brings a close to the season.
Let’s look back at our April recommendations. We bet on Newcastle and Manchester City in April, and both teams had a fantastic month which has kept them both in the race for Champions League. Newcastle came away with 15 points out of 18 points while Manchester City finished with 13 points out of 15 available. We had predicted a tough month for Everton and Fulham, and between the two of them, we saw only 10 points (3 wins and 1 draw) from a possible 30 total points.
For each team, you’ll see the game week, date, their opponent, whether each EPL fixture is home or away, and the placement of their opponent in the league table at the time of writing.
Fantasy EPL Draft – May EPL Fixtures
Here are the teams with the best set of EPL fixtures for April. Players on these teams have added value based on who they are playing.
Everton
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 35 | 5/3 | Ipswich (H) | 18 |
| GW 36 | 5/10 | Fulham (A) | 8 |
| GW 37 | 5/18 | Southampton (H) | 20 |
| GW 38 | 5/25 | Newcastle (A) | 3 |
Everton’s resurgence under David Moyes has been one of the stories of 2025, and their May fixtures offer an excellent opportunity to finish the season strongly. They start with a home fixture against struggling Ipswich Town, followed by an away trip to Fulham. The Toffees then return to Goodison Park to host Southampton, who have had a historically poor season, before finishing with an away match at Newcastle. After weathering a brutal April schedule, these fixtures will be a welcome relief for Everton assets. Abdoulaye Doucoure’s box-to-box presence continues to yield consistent fantasy returns. Jack Harrison has had a resurgence with providing positive attacking returns while taking some set pieces. James Tarkowski is out for the season, so expect Jarrad Branthwaite to take over the dominance on the backline and on set pieces. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see Dwight McNeil get back into the swing of things this month as he has recovered from a long-term injury. Fantasy managers should strongly consider Everton assets for their run-in strategy.
Brentford
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 35 | 5/4 | Manchester United (H) | 14 |
| GW 36 | 5/10 | Ipswich (A) | 18 |
| GW 37 | 5/18 | Fulham (H) | 8 |
| GW 38 | 5/25 | Wolves (A) | 13 |
Brentford has a favorable set of fixtures to close out their season with opportunities to climb the table. They start with a home match against Manchester United, who have struggled with consistency all season. The Bees then travel to face Ipswich Town before hosting Fulham in a West London derby. They finish with an away trip to Wolves, who have improved but remain beatable. Bryan Mbeumo has been Brentford’s standout performer and should be considered a premium fantasy asset for this favorable run. Yoane Wissa offers excellent value as a second forward option, while Mikkel Damsgaard’s creativity provides a high floor for fantasy returns. Defensively, Mark Flekken and Nathan Collins have been stand outs and provide strong fantasy points regardless of a clean sheet. With these favorable fixtures, Brentford assets could be difference-makers in the final weeks of the fantasy season.
These teams have just touched EPL fixtures in April, so be cautious when looking at players here.
Chelsea
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 35 | 5/2 | Liverpool (H) | 1 |
| GW 36 | 5/7 | Newcastle (A) | 3 |
| GW 37 | 5/13 | Manchester United (H) | 14 |
| GW 38 | 5/16 | Nottingham Forest (A) | 6 |
Chelsea face a brutal May schedule that could define their season as they search for Champions League football. They start with a challenging home fixture against league leaders Liverpool, followed by a difficult away trip to Newcastle, who have been strong at St. James’ Park all season. The Blues then host Manchester United in what’s always an intense fixture, regardless of league position, before finishing with an away match at Nottingham Forest, who have been one of the surprise packages this season. Cole Palmer has been Chelsea’s most consistent fantasy performer this season despite his current goal drought. Nicolas Jackson’s form has been up and down, but he got on the scoresheet last weekend and will be needed during this tough run. Chelsea’s defensive assets should be approached with caution during this run, as clean sheets will be difficult to come by against such strong opposition. Fantasy managers might want to look for alternatives when looking to stream during May.
Newcastle
| Game week # | Â Date | Home/Away + Opponent | Opponent Place in the League |
| GW 35 | 5/2 | Brighton (A) | 9 |
| GW 36 | 5/7 | Chelsea (H) | 5 |
| GW 37 | 5/13 | Arsenal (A) | 2 |
| GW 38 | 5/16 | Everton (H) | 15 |
After enjoying a favorable April schedule, Newcastle face a much tougher May with fixtures that could test their European ambitions. The Magpies start with a tricky away trip to Brighton, who have troubled many teams this season. They then host Chelsea before traveling to face Arsenal, who, despite have a focus on the Champions League, are still difficult at home. Their final match sees them hosting Everton, who have been rejuvenated under David Moyes. Despite the challenging fixtures, you can still show faith to the premium assets and consistent performers. Alexander Isak has proven himself to be fixture-proof and remains a premium fantasy asset. Bruno Guimarães and Jacob Murphy will likely continue to be the creative hub, though their output might be somewhat limited against tougher opposition. Kieran Trippier’s set-piece delivery always gives him a high floor as he has had a late-season fantasy surge, but clean sheets may be scarce during this run. Fantasy managers might want to consider rotating some of their Newcastle assets, particularly defensive options, during this challenging period.
Go with the best EPL fixtures. Good luck!
