While the All-Star break is a cherished period for rest and relaxation, it can create a bit of chaos for scheduling in the week ahead. With games resuming on Friday July 17, most teams didn’t announce their starters for the first game until a hour or two before the game. Also, several teams have delayed the release of the probable pitchers for the coming week ahead. As a result, this week’s initial list is far shorter than regular starting pitcher rankings but will be added to as more pitching decisions are announced.
