If you’ve somehow made it through the first seven weeks of the season without losing at least one of your top pitchers, then you’re extremely lucky. For the rest of us, it’s been hard times shopping in the bargain bin portion of the waiver wire.
Yet, don’t lose hope, as there are new arms making the most of their shot in the starting rotation. Despite less than a third of this coming week’s starting pitchers having a start confidence rating over five, that can change quickly in future weeks. That’s why I re-evaluate each pitcher every week when calculating the start confidence rating for weekly starting pitcher rankings.
