Waiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 10

Colston Loveland (Bears, TE)

Colston Loveland had his breakout game in Week 9, catching six of his seven targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns, which was 29.8 Fantasy Points. Loveland’s 58-yard touchdown play won the game for the Bears. This can hint at more production to come for the Bears’ 2025 first-round investment.

Trey Benson (Cardinals, RB)

There is a chance that Trey Benson could return in Week 10 for the Cardinals, after missing the last four games due to being on the IR. The former third-round pick from 2024 should operate as a workhorse for Arizona, as James Conner historically has, especially with Bam Knight and Michael Carter alternating roles in his absence.

Troy Franklin (Broncos, WR)

Troy Franklin has earned 10, eight, and then 10 targets the last three weeks from his college quarterback, Bo Nix, which shows a consistent role in this Broncos offense. Franklin has two weeks of 89 receiving yards, scored four touchdowns on the year, and has two weeks of 24+ Fantasy Points this season. Volume paired with proven upside makes Franklin FLEX-worthy.

Kareem Hunt (Chiefs, RB)

Kareem Hunt operated as the lead back for the Chiefs in Week 9, rushing 11 times for 49 yards and a touchdown and catching a six-yard pass with Isiah Pacheco out. Breshard Smith and Clyde Edwards-Helaire were barely involved in Week 9, so it was clear Hunt was “the guy” and can be “the guy” if Pacheco is to miss more time. Hunt has scored five touchdowns this season and has finished with 17+ Fantasy Points twice.

Christian Watson (Packers, WR)

Christian Watson returned to action in Week 8 to catch all four of his targets for 85 yards. Then in Week 9, Watson caught two of his four targets for 58 yards. So that is 21.3, then 29 yards per catch across the last two weeks, which shows Watson’s historic yardage upside. With Tucker Kraft out for the season and rookie Matthew Golden also banged up, Watson’s role can rise as he continues to build himself up post-return to action from injury. We have seen plenty of major Fantasy weeks in the past from Watson.

Parker Washington (Jaguars, WR)

Prior to the Week 8 BYE, Parker Washington earned 10 targets and caught four of them for 52 yards. In Week 9 with Travis Hunter on the IR, Washington earned nine targets, and caught eight of them for 90 yards, which was 17 Fantasy Points. Brian Thomas Jr. injured his ankle in the fourth quarter, which is something to monitor, but regardless, it is clear that Washington has a substantial role in this Jaguars offense, as evidenced by 19 targets across his last two games.

Joe Flacco (Bengals, QB)

Since joining the Bengals, Joe Flacco is averaging 28 completions, 313.5 passing yards, 2.75 passing touchdowns, 0.5 interceptions, and 24.94 Fantasy Points through four games. Flacco threw for 470 yards and four touchdowns in Week 9, which was 30.7 points. Clear upside for the veteran in Cincinnati.

Sam Darnold (Seahawks, QB)

Sam Darnold threw 21/24 (87.5%) for 330 yards and four touchdowns with an interception that meant 27.2 Fantasy Points in Week 9. This was the fourth time Darnold threw for 295+ yards, the fifth multiple touchdown game, the second game throwing four touchdowns, the third week with 20+ Fantasy Points, and the second time he has scored 27+ Fantasy Points. The connection to Jaxon Smith-Njigba is real.

JJ McCarthy (Vikings, QB)

After missing five full games, JJ McCarthy returned in Week 9 to throw 14/25 for 143 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, and he rushed for 12 yards and a touchdown, which was 18.92 Fantasy Points. McCarthy also had two passing touchdowns, an interception, and a rushing touchdown back in Week 1. McCarthy has viable weapons in Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and TJ Hockenson to lean on.

Harold Fannin Jr. (Browns, TE)

Rookie Harold Fannin Jr. had a major Fantasy week prior to the Browns’ Week 9 BYE, catching six of his eight targets for 62 yards and a touchdown, which was 18.4 Fantasy Points. This was Fannin’s third game earning eight or more targets, third game with six or more catches, third game with over 60 receiving yards, second touchdown of the season, third week of 13+ Fantasy Points, and second week of 15+ Fantasy Points.

Devin Singletary (Giants, RB)

Devin Singletary rushed eight times for 43 yards and caught two balls for eight yards in Week 9. Singletary out-produced Tryone Tracy Jr., with Cam Skattebo out for the season. This likely is going to be a committee backfield, but with Singletary looking like the better back, he is worth rostering with the chance he continues to see decent volume.

Tory Horton (Seahawks, WR)

Rookie Tory Horton stepped up big time with Cooper Kupp out in Week 9, catching all four targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns, which was 20.8 Fantasy Points. Horton has scored five touchdowns now on the season and has finished two weeks with over 18 Fantasy Points. Kupp’s injury status will need to be monitored, but Horton can continue to grow a role in Seattle with or without Kupp on the field.

Bhayshul Tuten (Jaguars, RB)

Rookie Bhayshul Tuten rushed nine times for 29 yards and a touchdown in Week 9, with a catch for negative yards. This was Tuten’s second game this season with 10 touches, and he has now scored three touchdowns. Travis Etienne Jr. is still the clear RB1 for the Jaguars, but game script can create some potential stand-alone value for Tuten or he can simply remain a solid handcuff to stash.

Tyjae Spears (Titans RB)

Across the last four weeks, Tyjae Spears has played 59%, 43%, 52%, and then 45% of the snaps in a committee with Tony Pollard for the Titans. Spears has earned double-digit touches the last two weeks, scored a touchdown in Week 8, and has finished four straight games with three or more catches.

Brian Robinson Jr. (49ers, RB)

Brian Robinson rushed five times for 53 yards and a touchdown in Week 9, which was 11.3 Fantasy Points. You cannot really trust BRob’s volume behind Christian McCaffrey, but Week 9 served as a reminder that this guy used to be a Fantasy viable option as a former starter, and that he should be stashed as a solid handcuff.

Devin Neal (Saints, RB)

Rookie Devin Neal rushed three times for 11 yards and caught a pass for another yard in Week 9. Neal only finished with three fewer carries than veteran Alvin Kamara, who has had a truly down season up to this point. Neal has taken on the complementary role that Kendre Miller vacated due to a season-ending injury, and is at minimum a handcuff to stash.

Alec Pierce (Colts, WR)

Alec Pierce caught six of his 13 targets for 115 yards in Week 9, which was 17.5 Fantasy Points. Back in Week 7, Pierce turned 10 targets into 98 receiving yards, which was 14.8 Fantasy Points. So in two of Pierce’s last three games, he has been targeted very well and shown yardage upside.

Tyler Allgeier (Falcons, RB)

Tyler Allgeier has had some stand-alone value behind Bijan Robinson in games where the game script has allowed it this season. Allgeier has finished four weeks with double-digit touches, two weeks with 50+ rushing yards, has scored four touchdowns, and produced double-digit Fantasy Points three times. Allgeier’s flashes just show he is a quality handcuff to roster as a former starter himself.

Blake Corum (Rams, RB)

Blake Corum rushed 13 times for 58 yards in Week 9 due to the Rams being up but a few scores. Corum has displayed solid efficiency throughout the year, with three weeks of over six yards per carry. Knowing the workload Kyren Williams can have as a starter makes Corum a solid handcuff to stash as a guy who I thought was a solid prospect.

Mason Taylor (Jets, TE)

Prior to the Week 9 BYE, Mason Taylor caught five of his eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown, which was 14.4 Fantasy Points. This was the third time across the last five weeks that Taylor has earned 7-12 targets, the third time during this span he scored double-digit Fantasy Points, and the second time he scored 14+ Fantasy Points. Taylor has a consistent role in this Jets offense, even if the offensive output is inconsistent.

Terrell Jennings (Patriots, RB)

Terrell Jennings rushed 11 times for 35 yards and a touchdown in Week 9, with a nine-yard reception for 11.4 Fantasy Points. TreVeyon Henderson operated as the lead back with Rhamondre Stevenson out for Week 9, but if Stevenson misses more time, then Jennings can provide some meaningful touches for managers desperate for it.

Theo Johnson (Giants, TE)

Theo Johnson scored his fifth touchdown of the season in Week 9, and his 11.7 Fantasy Points marks three games across his last five with that score or higher. Johnson earned six targets in Week 9 as well, which is the third time he has earned that or higher across the last five weeks. Jaxson Dart has needed guys to step up in the absence of Malik Nabers, and Theo has been one of those guys.

Josh Downs (Colts, WR)

Josh Downs caught six of his nine targets in Week 9 for 57 yards and a touchdown, which was 15.7 Fantasy Points. Downs has now scored a touchdown in three straight games played, earned eight targets three times this year, scored double-digit Fantasy Points five times, and 15+ points twice.

Dylan Sampson (Browns, RB)

Prior to the Week 9 BYE, rookie Dylan Sampson caught five balls for 29 yards with three rushing attempts that went nowhere. This was the second time this season Sampson has caught five or more passes, and this came with fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins leaving with an injury in the third quarter of Week 8. If Judkins were to miss time, Sampson’s role would shoot up alongside Jerome Ford.

Juwan Johnson (Saints, TE)

Juwan Johnson caught three of his four targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Week 9, which was 12.1 Fantasy Points. Johnson has now scored double-digit Fantasy Points in three straight games and six times this season. Although Johnson’s targets were not great in Week 9 during rookie Tyler Shough’s first start, he has been a consistent part of this Saints offense this year.

Tez Johnson (Buccaneers, WR)

Tez Johnson has played a meaningful role with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out of the mix for the Buccaneers. Tez has been targeted 15 times across the last two games, finished four straight games with over 40 receiving yards, has scored two touchdowns across his last three games, and has scored double-digit Fantasy Points in two of his last three games.

Darius Slayton (Giants, WR)

Darius Slayton caught five of his seven targets for 62 yards in Week 9. This was Slayton’s second game with over 60 receiving yards this season, and with Malik Nabers out for the year, Slayton can play an outside role with FLEX appeal due to his yardage upside history.

Christian Kirk (Texans, WR)

Christian Kirk returned to action in Week 9 after missing two weeks, catching four of his eight targets for 26 yards. This is the second game through four appearances that Kirk earned eight targets, which shows that if he is on the field, he has a significant role. Kirk has a history of Fantasy relevance to note.

AJ Barner (Seahawks, TE)

AJ Barner’s rushing touchdown in Week 9 elevated him to 11.5 Fantasy Points. Barner has now scored five total touchdowns on the year and has finished five weeks with double-digit Fantasy Points. Barner offers streaming value potential for the tight end position.

John Metchie III (Jets, WR)

The Jets traded Michael Carter and a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for John Metchie III and a 2027 sixth-round pick from the Eagles. Metchie was a former second-round pick who had a huge health scare to start his career. I was a fan of Metchie’s prospect profile, and knowing that the pass-catching options are so limited in New York makes me believe he could earn an immediate role in this Jets offense.
