The EPL waiver wire is getting tougher and tougher each week, as there are only three games left in the season.
Fernandes continued his steady and solid point production for Southampton. He was the only quality selection last week, as both Jack Harrison and Ethan Nwaneri began their games on the bench. Sepp van den Berg and Brentford won but conceded three goals.
Rotation will continue to be something to navigate. As more teams have less to play for, it’s going to be difficult to pick the right players even in the right matchup.Â
Week 36 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 36 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Beto –Â Forward – Rostered 45% – Fulham vs Everton
Beto was on a scoring drought until the last game. He went on a streak of goals earlier in the season, so after scoring against Ipswich, Fantrax managers will be wondering if he can get hot again. He had five shots with two on targets, too. Fulham have conceded at least one goal in their last six games. There aren’t many forwards left to choose from, and Everton play Southampton next.
Matheus Nunes – Midfielder – Rostered 40% –Â Southampton vs Manchester City
Nunes has settled in at right wing-back. Over the last three games, he’s had a goal and an assist. Even without scoring, he’s putting up decent points. City have climbed up the table and are within striking distance of catching Arsenal. It’s not top of the table, but it’s a better finish than it looked like it was going to be. City also travels to the worst team in the league, who have given up the most amount of goals. Keep your eyes on any open City player on the waiver wire this week.
Mats Wieffer- Midfielder – Rostered 11% –Â Wolves vs Brighton
He’s started the last three games, and he’s provided two assists in the stretch. He’s been active on both sides of the ball, and he’s earning points for that effort, too. There’s a risk of rotation, even with the injuries, but his play has earned him a good chance at a starting spot. Brighton has been inconsistent with results, but they continue to score goals. Opponents, Wolves, have the fourth worst goals against record in the EPL.
Michael Kayode – Defender – Rostered 4% –Â Ipswich vs Brentford
Kayode is available in almost all leagues, but he should be high on the EPL waiver wire list this week. He had an assist last weekend and a clean sheet in the previous week. He’s started in the last three, and the Bees won all three. Brentford finish the season with Ipswich, Fulham, and Wolves, which are good matchups to end on high note. He and other Bees should options for the rest of the season.
There are just three weeks left. Good luck!
