The Week 5 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire is here, and the season is kicking into full gear. EPL clubs and Fantrax managers have the following two weekends off for an international break. So make the moves you need to, then be ready to come back rested.
Week 4 suggestion, Ryan Giles, continues to impress and had another assist for Hull, who went toe-to-toe with Chelsea. He’s the 5th-highest scoring defender in Fantrax and still under 50% rostered across leagues. James McAtee had another quality game, with two key passes, a shot on target, and defensive stats. He’s still available in 40% of leagues and should be rostered. Tyrique George had his worst scoring output of the season in a 0-0 draw with Spurs. He’s still a solid option. Jorrel Hato was a disappointment and was subbed at the half. Chelsea have conceded nine goals this season, 3rd worst in the league.

Week 5 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 5 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Liam Delap – Forward-Â 49% Rostered – Nottingham Forest vs Coventry
Delap scored his first goal of the season after the transfer to Nots from Chelsea. He’s started the last two, and a goal should help keep him starting. He had six shots and a key pass. Delap is a big target man up front, and this year it looks like he should have quality service from the players around him. Nots hosts Coventry, who have yet to win or score. Coventry have conceded 10 goals, so while Delap could be a player to hold, it’s also a very good matchup this week.
Vitalii Mykolenko – Defender-Â 41% Rostered – Everton vs Ipswich
Mykolenko has scored double-digit points in three of the first four games. He had a massive defensive game, including seven tackles and three interceptions. Those stats add up quickly, especially when he’s also getting forward on the right side. Everton have kept two clean sheets so far and are yet to lose. Ipswich are just below them in the table. Mykolenko has really settled into the right back spot and is making it his own.
Daichi Kamada – Midfielder-Â 41% Rostered – Leeds vs Crystal Palace
Kamada has been a consistent player for Palace over the years, but his work has mostly been on the defensive side of the ball. The last two weeks, though, have been breakout games. He has two assists in the 3-2 loss against Ipswich, and another assist the game before that. That’s three more assists than he’s had over the previous two seasons. If Kamada continues his larger role in the attack, his value for Fantrax managers should increase. He’s a high-floor choice on the EPL waiver wire this week, and he’s a week-in-and-out starter.
Jayden Bogle – Defender-Â 40% Rostered – Leeds vs Crystal Palace
Bogle picked up a goal in his name off a deflection, giving him goals in back-to-back games. Even without the goals, Bogle is getting forward and getting points. He’s currently the 3rd-highest-scoring defender in Fantrax. He should be a top choice on the EPL waiver wire with how he’s playing. Leeds deserve their third spot in the table, and they’ve conceded just three goals this season. They host Crystal Palace, who sit in 16th place and have lost three games.Â
Check team news. Have fun. Good luck.
