Gameweek 18 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 18 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!
Michael Olise
Position: Midfielder
Team: Crystal Palace
Rostered: 26%
Next Fixture: Watford (Away)
Prospects: Who knows if this fixture will actually go ahead? If so, the congestion-induced rotation could give young Olise a chance to feature. Ayew has been playing very well, so this is a punt, but an upside one at that.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3% of my remaining FAB on Olise.
Craig Dawson
Position: Defender
Team: West Ham
Ownership: 18%
Next Fixture: Norwich (Home)
Prospects: West Ham has come down a bit in recent weeks, but they should still comfortably dispatch Norwich and have a decent chance to keep a clean sheet too. Dawson is always a decent threat from set-pieces too.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 2-5% of my remaining FAB on Dawson.
Joe Gelhardt
Position: Forward
Team: Arsenal
Ownership: 2%
Next Fixture: Arsenal (Home)
Prospects: Now this is a real Hail Mary, but Leeds needs to change it up not just because of their horrendous run but also because almost everyone is injured. James, who played up front against City had also got an injury, so we could see young Gelhardt up top. Leeds needs a response if they want to stop the rot!!
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-2% of my remaining FAB on Gelhardt.
