Gameweek 11 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 11 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Wout Faes
Position: Defender
Team: Leicester
Rostered: 8%
Next Fixture: Crystal Palace (Home)
Prospects: 11.25 points in a 2-1 loss, 5 tackles, 3 AER, 5 Clearances and that is just part of the stat line. The Midlands version of David Luiz has had similar spotlight on his arrival as Mr. Irrelevant (Last pick of the NFL draft) usually does as he was the solitary summer signing for Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester. After settling in, the Belgian CB took his spot in the centre of the defence and never looked back. 12 points with a CS last week and a ghost point haul this week almost make us forget how incredibly bad Leicester really are. And during our amnesia, we marvel at what could be with the softest upcoming few games a dominant CB could imagine. When we wake from our forgetfulness, we realise that we need to curb our excitement. Is he a good DEF3? You bet. Do we trust him? Not yet.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 1-3 FAB to get him.
Harry Wilson
Position: Midfielder
Team: Fulham
Rostered: 38%
Next Fixture: Bournemouth (Home)
Prospects: The former Liverpool man and Championship darling has officially arrived in the Premier League. In a 12-minute appearance, that was more rusty than anything, Wilson came on for Dan James and could not do anything to save Fulham from defeat. I was less looking for a performance from rather than some actual minutes to get excited and I am. The “New Boys Derby” next weekend will provide a great opportunity for him to get his feet properly wet and hopefully take over set pieces in the process.
Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
Goncalo Guedes
Position: Forward
Team: Wolves
Ownership: 35%
Next Fixture: Nottingham Forest (Home)
Prospects: Look, I am not going to try to convince you that Wolves are good, especially offensively. They have scored the same number of goals as Haaland has scored hat tricks this season. Guedes came in surrounded by excitement and a LOt of FAB was spent on him only to finally end up in the sub-40% club with us in the waiver article. So why am I recommending him? 2 things: He is about to face Nottingham Forest at home, and a new manager surely has to get at least something resembling attacking play going and Guedes will be a big part of that. Oh and he takes set pieces.
Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
