Gameweek 18 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 18 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Kenny Tete
Position: Defender
Team: Fulham
Rostered: 23%
Next Fixture: Southampton (Home)
Prospects: Tete had been touted as a solid option for a while now as the Fulham schedule looks great and they have a double gameweek coming up. He managed 19.25 in the thorough demolition of Palace on Boxing Day and he is likely to continue his rich vein of form against sorry Southampton. He is a good pick up and one to hold until the GW19 double, at least.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Alejandro Garnacho
Position: Midfielder
Team: Man United
Rostered: 29%
Next Fixture: Wolves (Away)
Prospects: While Rashford and Martial popped against Forest, Antony looked off his game, coupled with his involvement with Brazil at the World Cup, I am expecting a switch coming for the game against Wolves and the Garnacho did everything right in his energetic cameo yesterday to remind ETH he has a very good option to plug in if Antony in fact needs a rest. Garnacho looks like he will be a great player, but he is ready to contribute right now too. Wolves did not look much better than previously and only grabbed a late winner against Everton, so I believe United will continue in their winning ways.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Kieffer Moore
Position: Forward
Team: Bournemouth
Ownership: 23%
Next Fixture: Crystal Palace (Home)
Prospects: Palace have 2 of their first-choice defenders suspended for this game and even with 11 men, they had nothing to show against Fulham. Bournemouth will be looking to pile on and hope to jump above Palace with a win. Moore has done enough before the break to be afforded another opportunity to partner Solanke up front and hopefully with more of the possession, the ghost points will return too, unlike against Chelsea.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
