I just got back from taking my wife to see P!NK in concert. So we are going to do things a little differently for the Week 3 DST Streamers than we usually do and start each suggestion with some of her relevant lyrics.
Because P!NK put on a spectacular show. Similar to my Tampa Bay DST recommendation last week, she exceeded my expectations. I will spare you a complete musical preview, but I did like one thing she said which was, “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”
I’m not a big political cause person, but let me tell you what I stand for–sitting down. Do you know how some people feel really strongly about pro-life or pro-choice for example? Well, that’s how I feel about people sitting in their seats during a game, concert, show, etc. … and staying there! I will give folks a bit of pass who have little kids. But otherwise, stay in your dang seat folks! And don’t make me get up out of mine just because you need another refreshment or another trip to the bathroom. I don’t even leave my seat during halftime. Please try not to get up out of yours more than once.
Okay, lecture over. Speaking of lectures, quick review of the rules for the Week 3 DST streamers. I will suggest a handful of DST Streamers who are not in the experts’ consensus ranking of the top 12 DSTs.
With that out of the way, let’s as P!NK sings, get the party started.
Week 3 DST Streamers
Seattle Seahawks (vs. Carolina)
The play that shifted the momentum, @UchennaN_42.

Run just as fast as I can
To the middle of nowhere To the middle of my frustrated fears And I swear you’re just like a pill ‘Stead of makin’ me better You keep makin’ me illWe will start with one of my favorite P!NK songs, but this could easily be Carolina quarterback Bryce Young after this weekend. He could be running to nowhere and feeling quite ill after his game against Seattle coming up.
The Seahawks held their own against the high-octane Detroit offense. They picked off Jared Goff, sacked him twice, and also recovered two fumbles. This week they welcome the visiting Panthers and their rookie QB. Two weeks ago, he only completed 53% of his passes for 146 yards. He threw two picks and was sacked twice. This past week, the Saints sacked him four times and held Carolina to just 17 points.
If they are available, grab Seattle.
Las Vegas Raiders (vs. Pittsburgh)
Just like fire, burning up the way
If I can light the world up for just one day Watch this madness, colorful charade No one can be just like me any wayIs it me, or doesn’t it feel like P!INK could be describing a typical Raider fan with these lyrics, or at least the ones in the “Black Hole”? Maybe that’s a stretch. But the Raiders defense has certainly been a charade this season, currently ranked near the very bottom of the league. But Buffalo and Denver are two pretty good offenses.
But I’m not so sure about Pittsburgh and their offense this season, as that too seems to be a lot of smoke and mirrors. Pittsburgh has the seventh fewest points per game this season and the second-fewest yards per game.
I have a feeling that Maxx Crosby and company catch fire finally and do some damage on Sunday.
Los Angeles Rams (at Cincinnati)
Cleveland Browns (at Tennessee Titans)
Sticks and stones, they may break these bones
But then I’ll be ready, are you ready? It’s the start of us, waking up, come on Are you ready? I’ll be readyAfter Nick Chubb’s gruesome injury on Monday, I couldn’t help but think of the Browns when I heard these lyrics. But I think the lyrics could apply to either of the two teams who both have been quite “ready” on defense. Their defenses have looked pretty good, but their offenses? Not so much.
But the Browns are currently fantasy football’s ninth-best defense. In each of their first two games, they have multiple sacks. And they face the not-so-swift-of-foot Ryan Tannehill this week. Plus they have allowed less than 15 points per game on average over the first two weeks. The books have this over/under set at less than 40 points. There’s a reason for that.
