Week 12 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers
Wide Receiver Sleepers
Greg Dortch vs. Los Angeles Rams
Kyler Murray is back. This is great news for all of the Cardinals Wide Receivers, not just Marquise Brown. Dortch faces a Rams defense that gave up the seventh most fantasy points to receivers in Week 11. The Rams are also giving up the seventh most fantasy ppg to the position in the past month. Dortch saw a season-high six catches for 76 yards on eight targets last week.
Jayden Reed @ Detroit Lions
First things first, Jayden Reed is the best weapon on the Green Bay Packers this season. Aaron Jones has been riddled with injuries and Christian Watson is nothing but a boom or bust play. Now, Jayden Reed did a little bit of everything in the Packers’ Week 11 victory. Reed saw 46 receiving yards and 46 rushing yards. Also, Reed scored a touchdown and finished as the WR11 in consecutive weeks. With that being said, a Thanksgiving match-up awaits Jayden Reed. The Lions have allowed the eighth most ppg to the position the past month. Reed makes a second straight in this column. Expect another top-15 finish from Jayden Reed in Week 12.
Wide Receiver Streamers
Calvin Ridley @ Houston Texans
First of all, a shoutout to Calvin Ridley for finally having a fantastic outing. Ridley scored twice and had 103 yards. The overall WR1 in Week 11 was on a lot of benches. With good reason as Ridley had not had a good game since Week 5. With that being said, the biggest game of the week and each of their seasons happen in Week 12. The Jaguars and Texans face off to see who will slip into first place in the AFC South. The Texans are giving up the ninth most ppg to the position in the past month. Also, Trevor Lawrence just had his best game this season as he finished as the QB1. Certainly, this is the biggest game of Week 12 and I expect Ridley, Tank Dell, and Christian Kirk to have great games.
Odell Beckham Jr @ Los Angeles Chargers
Mark Andrews is set to miss the rest of this season. This is a tremendous blow to a Super Bowl contending team the Baltimore Ravens. The good thing is that Lamar Jackson is still the Quarterback. With that being said, after Andrews went down against the Cincinnati Bengals, Odell Beckham Jr. saw his best game in the regular season since 2021. With four catches and 116 yards, Beckham finished as the WR18. It is his second top-20 finish in the past three weeks. Now, with no Andrews, Beckham is a nice sleeper option against the Chargers. The Chargers gave up the most fantasy points to Wide Receivers in Week 11 and are allowing the second most fantasy ppg to the position this season.
