It’s Week 35 and the EPL Waiver Wire is here to help end your season strong.
Some players scored massive points in week 34… Like massive points!
This week Chelsea and Spurs are the only teams that play twice, including their mid-week game against each other. Chelsea also faces Aston Villa and Spurs host Arsenal, so the matchups aren’t quite as enticing as the previous week. But as we saw, those points can add up quickly.
The top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 35 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.
Week 35 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
Djordje Petrovic – Goalie – 26% Rostered – Aston Villa vs Chelsea, Chelsea vs Tottenham
This pick is all about making saves. He had six saves in their disastrous loss to Arsenal, which means he is still going to be picking up points. He’s playing teams who like to attack and who score goals. Spurs are chasing Villa currently in the table, so Chelsea has a chance to make an impact on the race for the final spot in the top four.
Marc Cucurella – Defender – 39% Rostered – Aston Villa vs Chelsea, Chelsea vs Tottenham
The Chelsea defender has been back in the starting XI for Chelsea. They continue to struggle defensively, but he’s not afraid to get forward either. At home, he’s been scoring more points and playing better. He gets one of two games at home. There’s real risk here for sure, but depending on where your team sits in the standings you may need to be taking some risks to move up the table.
Micky van de Ven – Defender – 43% Rostered – Tottenham vs Arsenal, Chelsea vs Tottenham
This is another risky pick with games against two London rivals. He has two goals on the season, but you’re going to have to be gutsy to go with him.
Emil Krafth – Defender – 43% Rostered – Newcastle vs Sheffield United
Krafth has come in and defended well as Newcastle has dealt with injuries in the back line, especially Kieran Trippier, who is getting closer to a return. Sheffield showed both some resilience against Man U, and why they sit squarely in last place. After going up twice, they ended up losing 4-2. It’s a good matchup for Newcastle and Krafth, but I’m keeping my eye on injury reports too.
This is a tough week, as the double-game options come with much more risk. Go with matchups and your gut.
Good luck!
