NFL DFS Late Slate Picks Week 4

There are only 3 games in the late slate this week. Both DraftKings and FanDuel run a series of tournaments and cash games that are just for the late afternoon slate of games. If you read my Money Makers and Heart Breakers for the Main Slate you know how the write-ups will go for the most part. We only talk about who to play in this one. They are my favorite Week 4 NFL DFS picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for the Sunday afternoon games.

NFL DFS Picks for the Week 4 Late Slate

Quarterbacks

Kyler Murray

The Cardinals play the Commanders in Week 4, The Commanders give up the most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Every quarterback that has played against the Commanders has passed for multiple touchdowns through the first three games. Murray will get it done through the air and with his legs in Week 4. Expect him to rush for over 50 yards and pass for over 200 yards with multiple touchdowns. Everyone produces against the Commanders. Here he comes to save the day the guy that looks like Mighty Mouse is on his way.

Jayden Daniels

The Cardinals are also pretty easy to pass against. They have given up multiple touchdowns in two of the last three games. Meanwhile, Daniels has been getting it done in the air and with his legs. I would expect Danielas to run at least 10 times in this game and pass for 200 yards or so as well.

Running Backs

Jordan Mason

In the first two games of the season, Mason had over 100 yards and a touchdown. In Week 3 he came out and totaled 88 yards on 21 touches. He has over 20 touches in every game this season. The volume will be there against the Patriots in Week 4.

$8,800 on FanDuel

Rhamondre Stevenson

Want a sneaky start? While everyone else is playing James Conner (who is also a nice play this week) you go and slip in Stevenson. Stevenson will get some volume and the Niners defense is not that great against running backs. The Niners have given up over 100 combined yards to the position every week this season. Look for Stevenson to be active in the Patriots run and passing games.

Jerome Ford

The Browns are playing the Raiders in Week 4. The Raiders give up the second most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. Ford is the primary back for the Browns as he played 79% of the RB snaps in Week 3. Ford also totalled 13 touches and 70 yards. The stars have aligned for him unless we hear the Browns are pivoting to Devonta Foreman. In Week 3 Chuba Hubbard smacked the Raiders for 114 yards rushing and 5 catches, 55 yards, and a touchdown receiving. Jesse, N-N-N-Now Jerome, I think I wanna know ya!

Brian Robinson Jr.

It looks like Austin Ekeler will be out. This means Robinson will have all the touches at running back for the Commanders. Robinson has either 100 yards or a touchdown rushing in every game this season. Running backs average 100 yards rushing, 4 receptions for 47 yards receiving, and a touchdown each week against the Cardinals.

Wide Receivers

Rashee Rice

Let’s start with the fact that Rice has a 32% share of the Chiefs targets. Rice has either 100 yards or a touchdown in every game this season. He has both in Week 3. Rice is the guy receiving the kind attention that Brittany Mahomes can only dream about getting from Patrick Mahomes. Pay up for him in the late slate.

$8,500 on FanDuel

Marvin Harrison Jr.

The Commanders are really bad at defending the pass. Wide receivers average 14 receptions, 194 yards, and 3 touchdowns per game against the Commanders. Harrison has 194 yards and 3 touchdowns in the last two games combined. He will continue his tear in Week 4. This should be the biggest game for the rookie this season. Stack up the Cardinals.

Jauan Jennings

Jenning had a 40% target share of the Niners passing game in Week 3. The stat line looked like this, 12 targets, 11 receptions, 175 yards, and 3 touchdowns. If this feels like chasing last week’s points that is because it is. If Deebo Samuel and George Kittle are back in the lineup, Jennings will not see this target volume. But his DFS price is low. He can get in the end zone and was already playing at least 50% of the Niners’ offensive snaps before his outburst.

Quintin Johnson

Johnson leads the Chargers in wide receiver snaps and averages roughly 75% of the offensive plays. He has 3 touchdowns in the last two games. There is not a huge amount of volume here, but the Chargers look to him in the red zone, and he can score. Johnston has a 20% target share of the Chargers passing attack. He is another wide receiver who can produce and is priced right in DFS.

Tight Ends

Brock Bowers

Bowers averages 68% of the tight end snaps for the Raiders. He has been the most consistent tight end so far this season. On the season Bowers has 21 targets and 18 receptions. That is a 25.6% of the Raiders target share, which is obnoxiously high for a tight end. Bowers has not had a game with under 40 yards yet this season. The Raiders play the Browns in Week 4. The Browns are middle of the pack defending the tight end but haven’t faced anyone of any merit yet.

$6,500 on FanDuel

Will Dissly

The Chiefs give up the most fantasy points to the tight end position. A tight end has got over 50 yards against the Chiefs in every game so far this season. But we are talking about Will Dissly here Reedy are you crazy? Dissly has 7 targets this season, which leads Chargers tight ends with a 10% target share. In the game of tight roulette, we are playing this season, load him up, point the gun at your roster, and see what happens.

DEF

Raiders

The Raiders play the Browns in Week 4. The Giants defense scored 13 fantasy points against the Browns in Week 3. Teams average 5.7 sacks per game against the Browns. This is about the Browns being bad and not the Raiders defense being great. The Browns give up the third most fantasy points to defenses. Yay, Raiders you finally have a bright spot.
