This week there are four games for the late slate in Week 9. I have some high-priced players with mid and low-priced players mixed in for you below.
Week 9 NFL DFS for the Late Slate
Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts has been sensational lately, posting seven touchdowns over his last two games. This week, he faces a favorable matchup against the Jaguars, who allow the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Five of the last six QBs have scored 20+ fantasy points against Jacksonville. Hurts is set to deliver another huge fantasy day in Week 9—expect him to keep the momentum rolling!

Matthew Stafford
In Week 8 Stafford got his best two wide receivers back in the lineup. It lifted him up in a huge way. 279 yards and FOUR touchdowns! In Week 9 the Rams play the Seahawks who have given up multiple passing touchdowns in four of the last five games. Stafford is priced right to play and will come up big for you in Week 9.

Caleb Williams
The Bears play the Cardinals in Week 9. The Cardinals give up the seventh most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. I know Williams didn’t produce last week. He will have to throw for the Bears to have a chance against this underrated Cardinals team. Quarterbacks average 245 yards and a touchdown passing against the Cardinals. Caleb should meet those numbers in Week 9

Running Backs
D’Andre Swift
D’Andre Swift has been on fire, scoring 19+ fantasy points in each of the last four games, with over 100 total yards and a touchdown in every outing. His hot streak is primed to continue in Week 9 against the Cardinals, who allow the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs. Swift is thriving in his role and looking sharper than ever in that Bears uniform—expect him to keep delivering!

Saquon Barkley
Barkley is a very high-priced running back for DFS this week. That is because the Jaguars give up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. Barkley has surpassed 12 fantasy points in all but one game this season. He has averaged 146 yards rushing over the last two games and will keep it rolling in Week 9.

Kyren Williams
Williams has scored a touchdown in every single game this season. He has double-digit fantasy scores in every single game this season. If you are looking to pay up at running back there is not a more “sure thing” than Kyren. This week the Rams play the Seahawks who happen to give up 130 yards and a touchdown weekly to running backs. Good week to be declared a punt returner for the Rams running back.

Wide Receivers
Brian Thomas Jr.
Brian Thomas is listed as day-to-day with a chest contusion, but if he’s active for Week 9, he has an ideal matchup against the Eagles, who struggle to defend wide receivers. Thomas commands an impressive 31% target share in the Jaguars’ passing attack, and he’s been highly productive lately, posting at least 60 yards and a touchdown in each of his last two games. If he’s on the field, I’m confidently starting him in both DFS and season-long leagues. No doubts about Thomas this week!

Romeo Doubs
In Week 9, the Packers face the Lions, who allow the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers—a great setup for Romeo Doubs. He’s led Green Bay in WR snaps over the past three games, earning a solid 22% target share and turning it into 20 targets, 14 catches, 205 yards, and 2 touchdowns. It seems speaking up about wanting more involvement has worked for Doubs! Expect him to stay productive in a prime matchup against Detroit.

AJ Brown
Brown has been incredibly consistent, posting double-digit fantasy points every game this season—he’s a true stud. In Week 9, he faces a Jaguars defense that allows the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. With the Eagles likely to take control early, expect Brown to rack up serious yardage in what should be a strong outing.

Keenan Allen
Allen plays the majority of the snaps at wide receiver for the Bears. In Week 8 that was 97% of the offensive snaps. He had 7 targets, which he turned into 2 receptions, for 39 yards. The target volume and the time on the field will be there in Week 9. Look for Allen to turn more of these targets into something productive against the Cardinals. The Cardinals give up the ninth most fantasy points to wide receivers.

Michael Wilson
Wilson is the secondary option at wide receiver for the Cardinals. He is on the field for the vast majority of offensive plays. Wilson has scored touchdowns in two of the last three games. The match up is not ideal but if you need a spot to pay down this is a guy you can do that with and get production.

Tight Ends
Sam LaPorta
With Jameson Williams suspended, Sam LaPorta has stepped up, seeing a season-high six targets last week, converting them into six catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. Heading into Week 9, the Lions face the Packers, who rank in the bottom 10 against tight ends.

Trey McBride
Trey McBride has a 24% target share of the Cardinals passing offense this season. In Week 8 he saw 11 targets which he turned into 9 receptions for 124 yards. He is the top option for the Cardinals. The Bears are middle of the pack against tight ends but McBride is pretty much matchup proof.

Grant Calcaterra
It appears that Dallas Goedert will be out again. In Week 8 Calcaterra saw three targets, he turned those into three receptions and 58 yards. Great production at his DFS price tag. This is the perfect play to pay down and get some production.

DEF
Rams
The Rams defense has posted double-digit fantasy scores in two of the last three games. The Seahawks are up in Week 9 and give up the ninth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defense. The Seahawks have given up three or more sacks in four of the last five games. The Rams are a nice sneaky play at defense in the late slate and main slate this week.
