16 Fantasy Football Takeaways from Week 10

A lot happens every single week in the NFL, so it is important to reflect on all of it to piece together what can mean something in the Fantasy Football world. There are always heavy changes when it comes to roles, volume, efficiency, production, and other variables that have a great impact on playing Fantasy Football. Understanding these changes can also help you with transactions in Fantasy Football, such as determining who are trade targets, players to sell, players to pick up off of waivers, etc.

After digging through each team and looking at all of the player details for Week 10, here are 16 takeaways I feel are important for the Fantasy Football world to know

16 Fantasy Football Takeaways from Week 10

1. James Conner has been one of the safest RB selections of the year

Conner has averaged 17.33 Fantasy PPG across the last four weeks. Five weeks of 17+ Fantasy Points on the year. Conner rushed for 107 yards in Week 9 followed by 80 receiving yards in Week 10, which show his upside beyond just scoring touchdowns.

2. Bijan Robinson is by far the hottest running back in Fantasy Football

25.5, 23.3, 23.6, 21.5, and 29.4 Fantasy Points across the last five weeks in a row. Two games with over 100 rushing yards along with two games of seven receptions show the dual-threat upside that was in his prospect profile.  “He is who we thought he was”

3. Anyone who told you to DROP Mark Andrews gave terrible advice

20.1, 14.6, 4.6, and then 18.8 Fantasy Points across the last four weeks with four touchdowns during this span. 68 receiving yards in Week 10. Trust historic connections and production in Fantasy Football.

4. Chuba Hubbard balls out post-pay-day extension

28 rushing attempts for 153 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 along with four catches for 16 yards. 24.9 Fantasy Points following a 21.2-point outing last week. Week 10 was the fourth time Hubbard scored over 21 Fantasy Points as one of the best late-round steals of the year.

5. My pre-season take that Ja’Marr Chase was the 1.01 this season looks great

11 catches on 17 targets for 264 receiving yards and three touchdowns in Week 10 for 55.4 Fantasy Points. Chase scored 41.3 points back in Week 5 and has totaled four weeks over 20 Fantasy Points this season. ELITE producer and looking back at the players who were drafted in the first round this year it is clear he was the best pick.

6. Courtland Sutton is in MUST-START territory now

17.12, 23.28, then 19.0 Fantasy Points the last three weeks. 11, 10, and nine targets with 100, 122, and 70 (touchdown) yards during this three-game span. Sutton looks well-connected with Bo Nix who is having a solid rookie campaign.

7. Travis Kelce again looks like the BEST tight end in Fantasy Football

25, 22, and then 20.4 Fantasy Points the last three weeks. 12, 16, and then 12 targets for 90, 100, and 64 receiving yards during this span. Two touchdowns across these three games. Classic Mahomes to Kelce looks like the elite connection it has been for years.

8. TJ Hockenson is BACK

Following his ACL tear, Hock returned in Week 9 then looked like himself in Week 10. Eight catches on nine targets for 72 yards and 15.2 Fantasy Points in Week 10 speaks to that truth. TJ Hockenson is a comfortable start the rest of the season.

9. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the SMOKE performance of the week

Three catches on three targets for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns for 25.9 Fantasy Points in Week 10. Do not waste your FAAB or waiver wire position. We have been here before, where he explodes and then is irrelevant for weeks to come.

10. Tyrone Tracy looks like the REAL DEAL

18 rushing attempts for 103 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 for 15.4 Fantasy Points. 129/145 rushing yards in Weeks 5/8. The clear RB1 for the New York Giants and Tracy looks like a true playmaker. The rookie is thriving right now.

11. Jalen Hurts is the hottest quarterback in Fantasy Football

21.86, 22.76, 35.15, 29.9, and then 29.68 Fantasy Points the last five weeks. Eight passing and eight rushing touchdowns during this span have shown his massive dual-threat upside. Hurts is simply on fire.

12. Russell Wilson has unlocked George Pickens

22.1, 11.4, and 20.5 Fantasy Points in the last three games. A controversial touchdown was taken back in Week 9, which could have been a bigger score. 111, 74, and 91 receiving yards across the last three games shows U-P-S-I-D-E.

13. Ricky Pearsall makes his presence known

77 scrimmage yards right before the Week 9 BYE foreshadowed production to come. Four catches on six targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 was 17.3 Fantasy Points. The first-round rookie rising with Brandon Aiyuk out for the year just makes sense.

14. Rachaad White’s receiving upside keeps him productive

Six catches for 39 yards and a touchdown in Week 10. Five catches in 3/4 of his last games. 29.1, 15.7, 12.5, and 19 Fantasy Points in the last four weeks even in a Bucky Irving committee shows solid Fantasy production.

15. Calvin Ridley is RISING

22.6, 12.3, and then 25.4 Fantasy Points the last three weeks. 15, eight, and nine targets with 143, 73, and 84 receiving yards during this span paired with two touchdowns in Week 10. Calvin Ridley is a trustworthy FLEX moving forward.

16. Austin Ekeler is NOT washed

Austin Ekeler has scored 17.3 / 18.1 Fantasy Points in the last two weeks. I do not care if Brian Robinson is out – production is production. Three rushing touchdowns in the last two weeks have lifted his Fantasy scores. Ekeler has finished 7/9 games with double-digit Fantasy scoring this season.
