Happy Thanksgiving & Week 13!!! It’s crunch time and there is no time to waste when it comes to getting your rosters in order. Whether you are preparing for the fantasy playoffs or looking to next year, there are always important moves to be made. On this week’s edition of the IDP Stock Market, we are going to be thankful and positive with investments only. I will help you navigate which stocks to invest in and which to liquidate. Let’s get right into it with three investments and three liquidations to help you keep your IDP portfolios providing big returns.
IDP Stock Market Investments
Christian Rozeboom, LB, Los Angeles Rams
My first IDP Stock Market investment, LB Christian Rozeboom of the Los Angeles Rams is like the cheap off-brand at your local grocer, looks and tastes the same just not the big brand cost. In fantasy that is exactly what we are looking for. Rozeboom has recorded 11 or more tackles in three of the last four games, has five double-digit games, and is averaging 8.27 tackles per game on the season. In the one game, he didn’t hit the double-digit mark in the last four games, he had three tackles, one interception, and three PBUs. Don’t snub your nose at Rozeboom, just be thankful he can be added to your rosters at a much cheaper investment cost and go toe-to-toe with any big-name linebacker out there.
Fantrax Rostership: 56%
Jonathan Greenard, OLB, Minnesota Vikings
Finding EDGE help this time of year can be extremely difficult this time of year. But here is a stock that’s been trending up most of the year and is still available in a quarter of the leagues. My next IDP Stock Market investment, Minnesota Vikings DE Jonathan Greenard, hasn’t received the respect that he deserved this season because he’s not the flashy household name brand, even though he’s out-producing those types of stocks. Greenard has been a fantasy stud with 15+ fantasy points in four of the last six games and six total games on the season. He’s been a bit of a sack-dependent option, with seven of his nine sacks coming in three games. Greenard has also stepped up his tackle production, with five or more in each of the last two weeks. Could be just the piece your teams need.
Fantrax Rostership: 71%
Josh Butler, CB, Dallas Cowboys
No matter how you approach the cornerback position, you should always look to see who is hot and who can give you the best chance to win. The next IDP Stock Market investment is one of the most recent hot stocks is CB Josh Butler of the Dallas Cowboys. The former Michigan State Spartan has been producing big returns for investors over the last two weeks. Butler has started the previous two games, playing 122 defensive snaps (91%), with totals of 17 tackles, 15 solo stops, 88.2% solo rate, and four PBUs. Butler checks off a lot of boxes and is a viable starting option during this barrage of bye weeks. A great penny stock that is available everywhere and can be a championship-winning move.
Fantrax Rostership: 2%
Leonard Floyd, DE, San Francisco 49ers
Another EDGE investment on this week’s IDP Stock Market is DE Leonard Floyd of the San Francisco 49ers. A year ago Floyd was circling the wagons for the Buffalo Bills and now returns to wreak havoc on his former team. Floyd is heating up at the right time for fantasy managers. In his last two games, he’s played 82 defensive snaps (62%), and registered seven total tackles, with six being solos, three TFLs, five QB hits, and 3½ sacks. Offensively the Bills have allowed 64 pressures but just 13 sacks in 11 games. Buffalo lets the seat get hot but rarely lets Josh Allen get dirty. A tough matchup this week but faces the Bears, Rams, & Dolphins to kick off the fantasy playoffs.
Fantrax Rostership: 29%
Zach Sieler, DT, Miami Dolphins
Here is an IDP Stock Market investment for those of you who play in position-specific leagues where you are required to start defensive tackles. After a somewhat slow start to the season, DT Zach Sieler of the Miami Dolphins has picked up the pace in the last three weeks. Over that stretch, he has recorded totals of 13 total tackles, eight solo stops, three TFLs, three QB hits, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one PBU. This week’s matchup vs the Packers will be a tough one but after the schedule is heavily in favor of Seiler the rest of the way.
Fantrax Rostership: 37%
