Fantasy Football 2024: Week 17 Wide Receiver Rankings

As we roll into my Week 17 wide receiver rankings, it is time to lock down for championship week. Along with it being championship week, we also get two Christmas games this year. A few notable injuries happened last week as Tank Dell is likely out for the season and Drake London left the game with a hamstring injury and didn’t return. London has been solid as of late, so if he is a no-go, then you need to see these rankings for his replacement.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Let’s start with Davante Adams as my WR8 against the Bills. It took a few weeks, but Adams is back to being an elite fantasy wide receiver. He has five touchdowns in his last four games and has 441 receiving yards in these four games. That is an average of 110.25 receiving yards per game. The Bills are middle of the road when it comes to deafening the pass, so this game should be a high-scoring division matchup. Adams is hot and it doesn’t look like he is slowing down anytime soon.
  • Next, I have Cooper Kupp as my WR23 against the Cardinals. Though the Cardinals are not the greatest fantasy defense, Kupp has not been a great fantasy option. It has been the Puka Nacua show for the last few weeks. In Kupp’s last four weeks, he only has one touchdown and a total of 133 receiving yards. Kupp has the talent to go off, but it looks like he is just not in sync with the offense and should be on the bench this week.
  • As for a must-start option, I have Courtland Sutton as my WR16 against the Bengals. Sutton didn’t have a good game last week, but before that, he has been a consistent double-digit fantasy scorer since Week 8. The Broncos are right in the mix of making the playoffs. As well as the Bengals. This game is destined to be a shootout and I expect Sutton to be heavily involved.
  • Lastly, I have Adam Thielen as my WR21 against the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are in the top 10 for the worst fantasy defenses against wide receivers. This is a great matchup for Thielen as he is averaging 13.7 fantasy points per game in his last four games. He also has 295 total receiving yards in those four games. Also in that span, Thielen is leading the team in targets with 34, while David Moore follows behind him with 21. This game should be a shootout and Thielen is set for a huge game.
