The 2025 NFL Draft has concluded, which means it is time to break down…literally everything. The draft was full of surprises and interesting picks, which have a heavy impact on the Fantasy Football world. With draft selections come Fantasy impacts for both that individual player and the players on the NFL team the rookie gets selected. I will be spending the next several weeks discussing draft impacts and analyzing the Fantasy Football potential for the future.
You should always weigh talent over opportunity in Dynasty, but opportunity does create the potential for Fantasy Football importance. Being selected by a team where a player can step straight into an important role can directly translate to Fantasy Football relevance right away. Understanding rookie opportunities can help you attack your Fantasy Football rookie drafts the right way and have an edge in your league. In no specific order, I break down seven of my favorite landing spot opportunities for players who were selected after the first-round in the 2025 NFL Draft. These players have a great opportunity to make a Fantasy Football impact sooner rather than later, and should be targeted in your Dynasty Fantasy Football leagues.
What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax this past season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune in the 2025 season.
Big Fantasy Football Potential for 7 Landing Spot Opportunities
1. Quinshon Judkins (RB, Ohio State)
The Cleveland Browns selected Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Judkins finished three straight college seasons (two at Ole Miss, and his final at Ohio State) with over 1,000 rushing yards paired with 14+ rushing touchdowns. Judkins has an NFL-ready physicality that includes contact aggression, size, absorbs hits, power running, and tackle-breaking.
Nick Chubb is an Unrestricted Free Agent, and with the Browns selecting Judkins in the second, and Dylan Sampson (Tennessee) in the fourth the writing for Chubb to be gone is on the wall. Jerome Ford and Sampson should provide some nice depth, as potential complement pieces but Judkins has the full opportunity to take on the “Chubb role” Cleveland has been missing.
Dynasty potential:Â Future RB1, with the chance to be a low-end RB1 / high RB2 in 2025
2. Tre Harris (WR, Ole Miss)
The Los Angeles Chargers selected Tre Harris with the 55th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Harris finished three straight seasons with over 900 receiving yards and led the nation in yards per game (128.8) in 2024. Harris is a vertical, volume wide receiver who is used to making the big plays.
Justin Herbert now gets a solid field-stretcher in Harris to pair with his reliable slot wide receiver, Ladd McConkey. The McConkey-Harris one-two punch is going to be an underrated combination heading into the 2025 season. Harris has an opportunity to earn consistent volume from a quality quarterback, who we have seen have the ability to hit the deep throws back in the Mike Williams days.
Dynasty potential:Â Upside FLEX weekly in lineups
3. RJ Harvey (RB, UCF)
The Broncos selected Harvey with the 60th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Harvey averaged 1,749 scrimmage yards the last two seasons and totaled 47 career touchdowns. Harvey is a hard-nosed, tough, explosive running back with great contact balance and production.
The Broncos rushed the ball 461 times in 2024, and Javonte Williams (who led in rushing attempts) is now a Cowboy. Jaleel McLauhglin and sophomore Audric Estime remain on the roster, but second-round draft capital indicates Harvey is the guy. Clear opportunity to be Sean Payton’s RB1 for the Broncos, which would be solid weekly volume.
Dynasty potential:Â RB2 in lineups
4. Jack Bech (WR, TCU)
The Raiders selected Jack Bech with the 58th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Bech finished 2024 with 1,034 receiving yards and nine touchdowns through 12 games. Bech plays tough, has great catch focus, and notable ball skills.
The Raiders upgraded their quarterback room this offseason with veteran Geno Smith. Bech can instantly step in as the target #3 behind Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers. Solid draft capital with little competition should bring some volume.
Dynasty potential:Â FLEX fill-in
5. Kyle Williams (WR, Washington State)
The Patriots selected Kyle Williams with the 69th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Williams finished with 1,198 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024 through 13 games. Williams is a 4.4 speed receiver with vertical separation and can create yards after the catch.
Drake Maye will enter 2025 as the starter, and was desperate for some receiving options to be added this offseason. Stefon Diggs joins the team, but is coming off of an injury from last year. The other rostered wide receivers in New England are a very average group, leaving an opportunity for the WR2 role wide open.
Dynasty potential:Â FLEX with upside
6. Kaleb Johnson (RB, Iowa)
The Steelers selected Kaleb Johnson with the 83rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Johnson finished 2024 with 1,537 rushing yards paired with 21 rushing touchdowns. Johnson has a combination of patience, vision, decisiveness, and toughness. He gets the extra yards and has touchdown upside.
Najee Harris vacates 263 rushing attempts from 2024, and Johnson has a clear opportunity to take that role on. Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell provide depth for Pittsburgh, but neither has the build or skillset of an RB1 in the way Johnson does.
Dynasty potential:Â High-end RB2
7. Cam Skattebo (RB, Arizona State)
The Giants selected Cam Skattebo with the 105th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Skattebo finished 2024 with 2,316 scrimmage yards and 24 total touchdowns. Skattebo is a master at breaking tackles, adds a ton of yards after contact, has great footwork, and quick burst.
Skattebo joins sophomore Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary in New York. Skattebo and Tracy combine for skillsets that can create a one-two committee for the Giants, with both backs playing a consistent role on a growing offense.
Dynasty potential:Â Depth RB with enough upside to be in lineups.
