Fantasy Football 2025: Week 5 Wide Receiver Rankings

As we roll into my Week 5 wide receiver rankings, this has been one of the worst weeks for player injuries. Both Malik Nabers and Tyreke Hill are going to miss the rest of the season. We already know that CeeDee Lamb will miss a few more games, along with Mike Evans. So, now is the time to either make some trades or work the waiver wire. Lucky for you, I have my top-60 wide receivers for this week.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Let’s start Emeka Egbuka as my WR7 against the Seahawks. Egbuka is the WR7 in the year and is expected to have another huge game. Evans is still going to miss some time, and even with Chris Godwin back in the lineup, Egbuka is still the clear WR1 in the Buccaneers offense. Egbuka has four touchdowns on the year and 7.75 targets per game. Last week, he had 10 targets with Evans out of the lineup. The Seahawks do have a tough defense, but this Buccaneers offense is too high-powered to get shut down.
  • Next, I have Quentin Johnston as my WR12. Johnston has taken several people by surprise, as he has been more eclectic than Ladd McConkey. Johnston has four touchdowns on the season and has 337 receiving yards. He is also averaging just over nine targets per game. While McConkey is only averaging just over six targets. The Chargers play Washington this week. The Commanders are giving up just under 30 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. And, after a loss to the Giants last week, I expect the Chargers to come to play.
  • Lastly, I have A.J. Brown as my WR17 going against the Lions. Brown is still very talented, but this offense is not pass-heavy anymore. The Eagles have been winning games based on their run game and defense. But, there is a chance that any game Brown can pop off. But it is going to be a gamble. Brown only has one game where he has scored more than 10 fantasy points. I would have Brown as a low-end WR2 this week.
