Week 6 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

Sleepers and streamers for Week 6 are here! This edition will feature wide receivers. Last week, the receivers for Week 5 did not deliver at all. Wan’dale Robinson, Adonai Mitchell, and Khalil Shakir amounted to nothing. Chris Olave was able to finish as the WR27. That is not great, but he was still able to start in leagues and be a factor. He had 12.9 fantasy points, seven receptions, 59 yards, and 11 targets. He has had double-digit targets in four of the five games he has played in.

Week 6 sleepers and streamers will aim to be correct on at least 75% of the wide receivers I will write about. Here they are.

Wide Receiver Sleepers

Tre Tucker vs. Tennessee Titans

In Week 3, Tre Tucker had 40.9 fantasy points. He finished as the WR1 that week. Tucker had 145 yards, eight receptions, and three touchdowns. The following week, he was unable to live up to that fantastic performance. He had just 4.2 fantasy points. Then, in Week 5, Tucker had 11.1 fantasy points, four receptions, and 62 yards. In Week 6, the Las Vegas Raiders play the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are giving up 35 fantasy PPG to the position. Overall, this is a fantastic game to start Tucker in as one of the better sleepers this week.

Rashid Shaheed vs New England Patriots

Rashis Shaheed finished as the RB9 in Week 5. Additionally, the New Orleans Saints are passing the ball a lot. They are one of the worst teams in football and are usually playing from behind. Shaheed had 21 fantasy points. He had four receptions, 114 yards, and a touchdown against the New York Giants. Now, he faces the New England Patriots in Week 6. The Patriots are allowing 34.76 fantasy PPG to wide receivers this season. That is the ninth most. Shaheed is considered one of the best sleepers every week due to his big-play ability. Yes, there are those weeks that he does nothing, but then there is what he did last week.

Wide Receiver Streamers

Tetaiora McMillan vs Dallas Cowboys

Tetaiora McMillan has been flirting with WR2 status all season long, so far. This is the week he has his breakout game. The Dallas Cowboys are allowing 45 fantasy PPG to wide receivers. That is the most this season. McMillan has had double-digit fantasy points in every game this season besides one. His best fantasy finish was WR21. Even against the Dolphins, who defend well against receivers, McMillan had 13.3 fantasy points. In Week 6, McMillan will break out and have his first WR1 of his bright NFL career.

Tee Higgins @ Green Bay Packers

Tee Higgins misses Joe Burrow. Higgins is having his worst season in his career. He is the WR61 on a PPG basis and is averaging 8.2 fantasy points. He is not startable by any means, although he was drafted fairly high in the off-season. In Week 6, he faces the Green Bay Packers. They are one of the better defenses in the NFL, but got tormented by Dak Prescott and George Pickens in Week 4. The Cincinnati Bengals traded for Joe Flacco. This is a massive upgrade for the weapons of the Bengals, including Higgins. Ja’Marr Chase is still WR1, but Flacco gives Higgins a chance to finally be able to produce this season.
