We can work with a 2-1 week. It allows for a little profit and is a reminder that we are aligned in our process. Now, we just need to keep the positive momentum going. The NFL season, and the betting journey, is a long one. All we are looking for is small gains, and that’s our intention, once again. Now, let’s dig into our Week 6 NFL Prop Plays on DraftKings.

Week 6 NFL Prop Plays (DraftKings)
Jonathan Taylor Over 90.5 Rushing Yards (-111)
There’s a lot going on in Arizona as it relates to the Cardinals. And then we have to factor in the potential for Kyler Murray not to play due to a foot injury. That leaves us with the question of how large Indianapolis’s winning margin will be? Right now, the Colts are favored by 7.5 points, but I’d expect to see that increase as the week progresses.
That game flow will lead to a heavy dose of Jonathan Taylor this week. In reality, with an average of 96 rushing yards per game to begin the season, how will that be different from anything we’ve seen to this point?
Yes, the Cardinals are eighth in the league with 92.4 rushing yards allowed per game this season. But they also haven’t faced anyone as good as Taylor. Taking the over on Taylor’s rushing yardage prop is just as much about him as it is a lack of confidence in Arizona.
Jake Ferguson Over 6.5 Receptions (+109)
With CeeDee Lamb out, someone has to catch Dak Prescott’s passes. Lamb’s absence has also left a large gap in the middle of the field. Over the past four weeks, Jake Ferguson has done a fantastic job of taking advantage of the opportunity.
It doesn’t appear that Lamb will be making his return this week, so we’ll get another week of Ferguson at a high volume. In the past four games, Ferguson hasn’t caught fewer than seven passes, with a high of 13 receptions. Especially with plus money, this is a player prop I’m targeting as Ferguson plays a vital role in Dallas’s offense. He’s a dependable safety blanket for Prescott and has emerged as the Cowboys’ number two receiver.

Kimani Vidal Over 30.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Between Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris, who expected Kimani Vidal to have any relevance in this season? Instead, with both Hampton and Harris now on Injured Reserve, the Los Angeles Chargers have to rely on Vidal and Hassan Haskins. At this point, they are the last two healthy running backs remaining.
The thought process is that it’s going to be a timeshare between the two running backs. As a rookie last year, Vidal entered the NFL with potential and upside, but instead, he was stuck behind JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Vidal finished with just 155 rushing yards on 63 carries before being trapped on the depth chart once again.
Now, Vidal gets a chance to show what he’s capable of. While both running backs will get a chance to show what they can do, the thinking is that this will be a hot hand situation. After spending last year with the Chargers, Vidal does have some familiarity with the offense. It’s a modest player prop in a great matchup. Vidal’s opponent this week, the Miami Dolphins, are ranked last in the NFL with 174 rushing yards allowed per game.
