Week 7 NFL DFS Late Slate Picks

Quarterbacks

Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

He gets the Cowboys in Week 7, and they’ve been a fantasy football cheat code for quarterbacks. Dallas is coughing up 286 yards and 3 TDs a game, even Bryce Young lit them up for three. With a 55-point total, this one screams shootout. You already know Daniels is a stud anyway, and now he’s got the best matchup on the slate. Pay up in DFS. This is Money Maker territory.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys vs. Commanders matchup carries the week’s highest over/under at 55 points, and you know what that means: Shootout time. Dak Prescott enters as the QB3 overall, and he’s been scorching hot with 11 total touchdowns (10 passing, 1 rushing) over his last three games. The Commanders aren’t slowing anyone down either, giving up the 9th-most fantasy points to QBs. Dak’s locked in, loaded, and ready to light it up again.

Running Backs

Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Washington Commanders

I am piling on the Commanders against the Cowboys. Not only are the Cowboys bad at stopping the pass, but they also cannot defend the run. The Cowboys give up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. So Bill (it really doesn’t make sense, but they call Jacory “Bill”) has a smash match-up himself in Week 7. Look for Bill to punch in a touchdown this week.

Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts

If you looked at the match-up, you might think it is not that good. But the Chargers have been burned something fierce by running backs the past two weeks. In Week 5, Jacory Croskey-Merrit ran for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Chargers, and in Week 6, De’Von Achane ran for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns against this defense. Taylor is the number 1 running back in fantasy and will smash the Chargers into oblivion in Week 7.

Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers

Josh Jacobs is on fire with two touchdowns in back-to-back games, and he gets another juicy matchup in Week 7 against the Cardinals. Arizona’s defense has allowed a double-digit fantasy day and a RB touchdown in every single game this season. Fire up Jacobs with confidence, he’s a Money Maker this week.

Wide Receivers

Luke McCaffrey, Washington Commanders

The Cowboys vs. Commanders showdown screams opportunity. Dallas is giving up the most fantasy points to wide receivers (roughly 42.7 per game). Deebo Samuel hasn’t practiced this week, and Terry McLaurin’s status is also questionable. If Deebo is sidelined, Luke McCaffrey becomes the primary wide receiver. He’s flashed upside this season (8 receptions, 179 yards, 3 TDs, 22.4 Y/R)  and will likely see more targets in this matchup. Dallas’ weakness versus receivers plus McCaffrey stepping up; this could be one of his biggest fantasy outings yet.

$4,100 on DraftKings
$5,500 on FanDuel

Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos

The Broncos face the Giants in Week 7, a defense giving up the third-most fantasy points to WRs. Courtland Sutton is coming off a quiet game (3 targets, 1 catch), so most managers will fade him. Don’t make that mistake. Fire him up this week and keep him ready for next week’s matchup with the Cowboys, too.

$5,900 on DraftKings
$7,700 on FanDuel

Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers

Ladd McConkey has been cooking the past two weeks, with 16 targets, 12 catches, 139 yards, and 2 TDs. Now he gets the Colts’ pass-funnel defense in Week 7, a perfect setup for a receiver hitting his stride. Ride the hot hand! Ladd’s back on track and in a great spot. I am really Charged up about this one.

$6,000 on DraftKings
$7,300 on FanDuel

Zay Jones, Arizona Cardinals

Jones stepped in for a concussed Marvin Harrison and saw decent numbers in Week 6: 8 targets, 5 receptions, and 79 yards. In Week 7, it looks like he may be starting for the Cardinals with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback. Brissett throws a better deep ball than Kyler Murray. The Packers have been burned recently by Ja’Marr Chase (Week 6: 10 receptions, 94 yards, TD) and George Pickens (Week 5: 8 receptions, 134 yards, 2 TDs). Great play for Week 7, at a great price in DFS.

Tight Ends

Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

McBride has a 39% target share of Arizona passes. He is the number one target on this team. In Week 6, McBride saw 11 targets, which he turned into 8 receptions, 72 yards, and a touchdown. So, there are plenty of reasons to play him in Week 7. But wait, there’s more. The Opponent is the Green Bay Packers, and they give up the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends. This will be a good one.

$4,700 on DraftKings
$6,700 on FanDuel

Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers

The Packers take on the Cardinals in Week 7, a defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends. Tucker Kraft has found the end zone in 3 of 5 games, and this matchup is set perfectly for touchdown number four. He’s a sneaky Money Maker play this week.

$4,900 on DraftKings
$6,300 on FanDuel

Defense

Denver Broncos

The Broncos are one of the best defenses in the NFL. In Week 7 they play against the Giants and their rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. Dart is no joke of a quarterback, but he hasn’t faced a defense quite like this yet. The Broncos will go after him and show him things he hasn’t seen.
