NFL DFS Late Slate Picks Week 10

Welcome back, degenerates and diehards, to Late Slate — the part of your Sunday that either saves your fantasy week or sends you doomscrolling through your bench options, wondering “why didn’t I start him?” We’re heading into Week 10, and by now, you know what your team is made of. The trade deadlines are creeping up, the bye weeks are brutal, and DFS is as wild as ever.

Last week, we learned a lot — some things we expected, and a few that blindsided us like a linebacker on a delayed blitz. I liked the “5 Things We Learned” bit so much last week, I had to bring it back.

5 Things We Learned from Week 9 of the 2025 NFL Season

  1. Arizona pass catchers are much better with Jacoby Brissett playing quarterback. Marvin Harrison and Try McBride are fantasy relevant again.
  2. Joe Flacco has a bye this week, but is now an every-week starter at quarterback in fantasy. Flacco is averaging three touchdowns per game since taking over as the Bengals’ starting quarterback.
  3. Brock Bowers is the Raiders’ offense. In Week 9, Bowers had a 33% target share. That is crazy for a tight end.
  4. When Rico Dowdle gets volume touches, he produces. In games where Dowdle has 26 or more touches this season, he has averaged 30 fantasy points per game
  5. Surprisingly, Kareem Hunt is the running back on the roster for the Chiefs. He leads the Chiefs with 6 touchdowns this season.

Week 10 NFL DFS Late Slate Picks

Quarterbacks

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Jared Goff has that boom-week potential, the kind of games where he suddenly erupts for 300+ yards and multiple touchdowns out of nowhere. Week 10 sets up perfectly for one of those performances. He faces a Commanders’ defense that’s been a fantasy goldmine for quarterbacks, surrendering the fourth-most points to the position. Over their last three games, Washington has allowed 260+ passing yards and at least three touchdowns to every opposing QB. Everything lines up for Goff to light it up — this could easily be one of his signature spike weeks.

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Since Stafford has joined the Rams, he has averaged 250 yards and 1.3 touchdowns against he 49ers. This season, the 49ers defense is middle of the pack when it comes to defending the pass; quarterbacks average 231 yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game against the Niners. In Week 5 this season, the Rams played the Niners, and Stafford passed for 389 yards and three touchdowns. I would look for Stafford to continue to play well against the Niners in Week 10.

Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

In the three games that Brissett has started, he has passed for over 260 yards and two touchdowns in each game. The Seahawks are middle-of-the-road against the pass. I would expect Brissett to continue his success in Week 10 against the Seahawks’ defense. He is simply playing at a high level right now and improving the play of his pass catchers.

Running Backs

Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

In Week 5, the Rams played the Niners. Kyren Williams ran for 65 yards in that game. He also had 10 targets, which he turned into eight receptions, 66 yards, and two touchdowns. In Week 10, the Rams will play the Niners again. If he is involved in the passing game again, we should look for similar numbers in Week 10.

Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions

You know who is good at football? That would be this Jahmyr Gibbs guy. Gibbs had a rough time last week against the Vikings’ defense. The Commanders are up in Week 10. The Lions will want to get their best skill position players involved, and Gibbs is one of those players. I would look for Gibbs to do his damage more as a receiver in Week 10 than as a runner.

Emari Demercado, Arizona Cardinals

In Week 9, Demercado saw 40% of the Cardinals’ snaps at running back. He led the team with 14 carries for 9 yards rushing. He could be a nice, inexpensive player at running back in Week 10. I like him mixed in with some more expensive players at other positions in Week 10.

Wide Receivers

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Last week, three Seahawks wideouts put up double-digit fantasy points against this very Commanders defense that Amon-Ra St. Brown gets to torch in Week 10. It’s a dream matchup for the Sun God, who continues to dominate the Lions’ passing attack with a 31% target share, team highs in receptions (59), yards (635), and touchdowns (7). Simply put, he’s the engine of this offense. So, grab your shades and lather on the sunscreen because the Sun God is about to shine (and yes, I’ve been waiting all season to say that).

Deebo Samuel, Washington Commanders

The Commanders face the Lions in Week 10, and while the matchup looks rough on paper, there’s a hidden opportunity here. The Lions give up the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers, and with Terry McLaurin likely out and Luke McCaffrey already ruled out, Deebo Samuel is basically the last man standing. Yes, the Commanders are rolling with a backup QB, and Deebo’s recent production hasn’t been great, but volume is king, and he’s about to get plenty of it. Hop on that bike, Deebo — time to go steal some chains like it’s Friday all over again.

Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers

The Rams are middle of the pack against the pass. Jennings is starting to get healthy. In Week 9, he had 5 targets, which he turned into four receptions, 41 yards, and a touchdown.  Jauan will be the top target in the Niners’ passing attack in Week 10.

Tight Ends

Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions

The Lions play the Commanders in Week 10. The Commanders give up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ tight ends. Laporta was heavily involved in the Week 9 passing game. He had eight targets, six receptions, 9 yards, and a touchdown. You can count on the Detroit offense wanting to get him going again in a great spot in Week 10.

Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

McBride has four touchdowns in the four games Jacoby Brissett has been playing quarterback for the Cardinals. In Week 10, the Cardinals will play the Seahawks. The Seahawks give up the ninth most points to opposing teams’ tight ends. McBride makes you want to pay up at tight end in Week 10.

Defense

Detroit Lions

The Commanders’ offense is falling apart. Injuries, age, and inconsistency have caught up fast. Over their last four games, every opposing defense has scored at least nine fantasy points, averaging 10.75 per game during that stretch. They’ve also surrendered 13 sacks in that span. Enter the Lions, who bring plenty of pass-rush heat and should have no problem keeping the Commanders’ offense in check. Detroit’s defense is a strong play in Week 10.
