2025-26 Fantasy NBA Deep League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 5

Fantasy Basketball Deep League Waiver Wire Adds

Keon Eliss – G, Kings

Keon Ellis has been flirting with a breakout for what feels like two seasons now, and the Kings’ looming veteran sell-off only makes him more interesting. The role isn’t locked in yet, but the flashes? They’re real.

He dropped six threes on Wednesday and followed it up with three more in just 22 minutes vs. Minnesota. The shooting stroke is there — now he just needs consistent burn.

If he sticks in this 20–24 minute window, Ellis becomes one of those sneaky perimeter adds who hits threes in bunches. Keep him on the radar.

Paul Reed C, Pistons

Another week, another random Pistons player emerging as a legit streamer. With Jalen Duren sidelined, Paul Reed stepped into a full workload and absolutely smashed — 28 points, 13 boards against Chicago and back-to-back games of 25+ minutes.

Reed is one of those energy bigs who only needs minutes to be fantasy relevant. Whenever Duren is out, Reed is a plug-and-play option with double-double upside. Don’t overthink it.

Tyrese Martin G, Nets

Martin erupted for 20 points, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal in 26 minutes against Washington — a huge leap for a guy who totaled just 11 points across his previous four appearances.

He has shown flashes, but the inconsistency is real. However, seeing high minutes in the twenties is hard to ignore.

Gogo Bitadze C, Magic

Goga is fantasy-relevant even in 15–18 minutes per game. Over his last three outings, his rebounds, free-throw efficiency, and defensive stats have all popped.

With Mo Wagner and Paolo Banchero banged up, Goga’s carved out a steady second-unit role. Even in limited minutes, he’s giving you boards, blocks, and high-efficiency finishes. If you need low-end center help, he’s worth a look.

Vince Williams F, Grizzles

With Ja Morant sidelined (ankle), Vince Williams Jr. stepped into a spot start and continued his surprising efficiency — he’s now 12-for-12 at the free-throw line on the season. Combine that with his bump to 24+ minutes, and you’ve got a deep-league streamer who can contribute across the board.

Morant shouldn’t miss extended time, but Williams has shown enough to hold short-term value and possibly stick in a larger role.

Luke Kornet C, Spurs

Kornet went 13 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks, and didn’t miss a field-goal attempt while starting for Victor Wembanyama (calf). Any time Wemby sits, Kornet becomes an automatic top-tier streamer thanks to his efficient rim-running and strong shot-blocking rates.

Whenever the Spurs’ superstar is out, don’t hesitate — Kornet is a must-play.

Caris Levert G/F, Pistons

LeVert is quietly on a nice run: double-digit points in five straight, including 14 and 17 in his most recent games after dealing with a brief knee issue. The veteran is giving Detroit one of the few steady scoring options off the bench and adding assists + defensive numbers. Don’t walk run to pick him up.

Julian Champagnie G/F, Spurs

When Stephon Castle (hip) went down, Champagnie was the immediate next man up. He logged 26 minutes, scored 12 points, and looked solid — similar to what he showed earlier this season when injuries opened the door.

If Castle misses time, Champagnie becomes a viable add with scoring and threes appeal. Monitor closely.
