Week 14 DST Streamers

Last Week’s Stashes: Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns (vs. Tennessee Titans)

Fantrax Rostership: 85% (Other Platforms: 62% – 76%)

A stash from last week, the Browns look like the best DST of the week. Not only have they been an elite unit all season, but they get the best matchup in the league. The Browns have accumulated 43 sacks this season, 2nd in the league. They’re also allowing the 2nd fewest yards per play and have generated 15 takeaways. On the other side, Cam Ward has been sacked a league-high 48 times. Myles Garrett will feast in Week 14.

Indianapolis Colts (at Jacksonville Jaguars)

Fantrax Rostership: 89% (Other Platforms: 32% – 47%)

This is not a great matchup, but the Colts are as consistent as they come. Indy has only scored fewer than 2 fantasy points twice this season. In their best matchups, they have naturally impressed, but the Jaguars offense can turn things up. Trevor Lawrence still doesn’t look like the generational player that some expected, but he has done well for the Jaguars offense.

Outside of bad losses against elite defenses like the Texans, Seahawks, and Rams, Lawrence and the Jaguars have been offensively successful. However, he is still prone to mistakes and can take some sacks. The Colts defense ranks 13th in DVOA and 11th in EPA/play. If you want a safer pick this week, the Colts are a solid streamer. If you want upside, look elsewhere.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. New Orleans Saints)

Fantrax Rostership: 94% (Other Platforms: 23% – 34%)

It may not seem like it, but the Bucs rank 8th in defensive DVOA. They’re also scoring the 9th most fantasy points at the position. Tampa has faced some of the league’s best offenses and naturally has some down weeks. However, they have done exceptionally against the bottom half of opponents.

The New Orleans Saints have not exceeded 17 points with Tyler Shough this year. The 2nd round rookie has had flashes of excitement, but overall hasn’t done much. He turns the ball over, can’t sustain drives, and gets sacked at a decent rate. That’s a recipe for success for a DST streamer. The Buccaneers are a great option in Week 14.

Washington Commanders (at Minnesota Vikings)

Fantrax Rostership: 62% (Other Platforms: 3% – 14%)

It truly cannot get any worse for the Vikings. Max Brosmer, a 7th-round rookie, started for the team against an elite Seahawks defense last week. He threw 4 interceptions and was sacked 4 times in a 26-0 loss. J.J. McCarthy is expected to clear concussion protocol and start next week against a much weaker Commanders defense. Things should look better for the Vikings in Week 14, but they are still worth targeting.

McCarthy is much better than Brosmer, but he has had his share of struggles this year. The 2024 10th overall pick has thrown 10 interceptions to only 6 touchdowns in his 6 games played. He has also been sacked 20 times. Minnesota has worked their way up to the 2nd-best DST matchup in the league. The question becomes whether or not you can trust the Commanders.

Washington is the DST30 on the season, but they have delivered solid fantasy results in their best matchups. They’ve averaged 12.5 fantasy points against the Giants, Raiders, Chargers, and Dolphins – all top-half DST matchups. With strong weapons and the slightest QB upgrade, the Commanders are not without risk, but they should offer a decent floor with some upside this week.
