We’re nearing the halfway point of the season, which is when keeping up with the fantasy baseball waiver wire can start feeling like a slog. However, we need to keep our foot on the gas. It’s essential to stay on top of the latest injury news, call-ups, and closer situations — and act accordingly on the wire.

Most of the fantasy baseball waiver wire targets listed below are rostered in 70% or fewer of Fantrax leagues; all are capable of boosting your fantasy rosters. With that, let’s look at some Week 13 fantasy baseball waiver wire targets.

Week 13 Waiver Wire Targets

Dominic Canzone, OF, Mariners (62%)

Dominic Canzone is flexing some muscle, smacking three home runs in his last six games. He’s quietly been on a power surge since the end of May, hitting seven of his 11 long balls to go with a whopping .453 ISO. In those 19 games, Canzone is slashing a ridiculous .404/.460/.860 with 11 runs scored, 12 RBI, and a 266 wRC+.

Canzone’s results are finally starting to catch up with his underlying numbers. He already matched his 11 home runs from last season — and in 16 fewer games, to boot. Plus, his quality contact metrics this season are nothing short of impressive: his 15.8% barrel rate, 93.3 mph average EV, and .389 xwOBA are all ranked in the 95th percentile. Canzone is batting cleanup over his last three games and is one of the better power bats on the wire. Despite sitting against lefties, Canzone is still a must-add in 12-teamers with 5/6 RHP on the docket next week.

Cole Carrigg, OF, Rockies (59%)

Cole Carrigg got the call-up last week and is already making some noise. In nine games, he flashed pop and speed, with three long balls, one triple, and a stolen base. Much of Carrigg’s value will come from his speed, as he stole 30 bases in 57 games at Triple-A this year. But he also possesses mid-teens pop and is sporting a 12.5% barrel rate and 33.3% pulled-air rate across his 38 plate appearances with the Rockies. The sample size is small, but assuming he continues to get everyday playing time at Coors Field, Carrigg’s power/speed combo is worth taking a shot on.

Jake Mangum, OF, Pirates (30%)

Jake Mangum has looked good as the Pirates’ everyday center fielder since Oneil Cruz hit the IL earlier this month. The speedster has hit the ground running in that short span, hitting .308 and swiping three bags in those 10 games.

The bulk of Mangum’s fantasy value stems from his legs. He racked up 27 steals across 118 games as a rookie in 2025 and is 13-for-15 on the basepaths in 55 games this season. Mangum brings little power to the table, but sports 93rd percentile speed without sacrificing batting average (career .296 BA). The Bucs are one of the more aggressive teams on the basepaths, and Mangum should continue to pile up stolen bases while getting everyday playing time. Cruz should be out for another month, making Mangum a nice target if you’re in the market for speed.

Noelvi Marte, 3B/OF, Reds (72%)

Noelvi Marte looks like he’s finding his rhythm at the plate. He popped three homers and stole three bags over his last seven games while slashing .259/.259/.667. He tore the cover off the ball in those 27 plate appearances with a 14.3% barrel rate and 92.2 mph average EV. Marte didn’t draw a walk in that stretch. However, his 22.2% strikeout rate is a 10-point improvement from the mark he carried before his demotion to Triple-A early this season.

Overall, Marte brings a solid blend of pop and speed to the fantasy table. In 2025, he hit .263 with 14 home runs and 10 steals across 90 games. Marte has played in seven of the Reds’ last nine games and could earn more at-bats while he’s swinging it. Marte’s upside is worth an add in shallow leagues, especially if he sticks in the lineup.

Nasim Nunez, 2B/SS, Nationals (43%)

It’s not news that Nasim Nunez is fast; his 97th percentile speed has fueled an NL-best 26 stolen bases this year. The catch is that those steals have come with no power and a harmful .223 batting average. However, Nunez has started to turn things around at the plate since the calendar flipped to June. The speedster is boasting a .378/.439/.514 slash line in 42 plate appearances this month with one double and two triples. He’s also 4-for-5 on the basepaths. A .519 BABIP has certainly helped the cause. But Nunez is a fine option to plug into speed-needy lineups while he’s a batting average asset.

Lars Nootbaar, OF, Cardinals (53%)

Lars Nootbaar has been cruising since his season debut earlier this month. He’s hitting .268 across 12 games, with a pair of doubles and dingers to go with a .375 xwOBA. He’s also been patient at the plate, sporting a 14.3% walk rate.

In addition to a solid plate approach, there’s intriguing power potential under the hood. Nootbaar is smoking the ball with a 13.8% barrel rate, 62.1% hard-hit rate, and 95.3 mph average EV. He’s best suited for deeper leagues and OBP formats, but as long as he’s hitting in the middle of the order, Nootbaar should pile up the counting stats.

Andre Pallante, SP, Cardinals (58%)

Andre Pallante is fresh off one of his best games of the season. He tossed seven frames of two-run ball against the Padres with a 6:0 K:BB. Pallante is no stranger to pitching deep into games. He picked up six quality starts (and six wins!) in his last nine outings. In that 51.1-inning stretch, Pallante holds a steady 3.51 ERA (3.67 xFIP) and 1.09 WHIP, which pairs well with a 54.3% ground ball rate. His 20.2% strikeout rate is underwhelming, but it’s tough to get too bent out of shape with Pallante’s results.

Looking ahead, Pallante is slated for a two-start week against the Diamondbacks and Marlins, both home tilts. He should boost your ratio columns and offer win value to go with increased volume. Grab Pallante if he’s sitting on the wire.

Griffin Jax, RP, Rays (61%)

Griffin Jax has fared pretty well in his transition to the rotation. While he’s still being stretched out, Jax logged at least 60 pitches in five of his last starts and posted a 2.77 ERA (3.49 xFIP), 1.31 WHIP, and 22.9% K rate in that span. The strikeouts are middling on the surface, but they come with a 14% SwStr%, so more Ks should be coming.

It’s unclear if the Rays will keep giving Jax the quick hook, as he hasn’t pitched deeper than five innings. But his strong skills and team context are worthy of an add in 12-teamers while we wait and see. Jax is lined up for a favorable home matchup against the Royals next week.
