January EPL Fixtures

  • Start = confidence to play them regardless OR riding the hot hand with good fixtures
  • Stream/Rotate = matchup-dependent or short-term value plays
  • Bench = own but don’t use, or consider dropping for better options for the month

Favorable EPL Fixtures: Everton welcome Brentford and Wolves to Goodison Park to open January before traveling to Aston Villa. They then host Leeds and finish the month with an away trip to Brighton. Apart from the Villa fixture, this is an excellent run of winnable matches that could see the Toffees build momentum. Newcastle begin January with back-to-back home fixtures against Crystal Palace and Leeds, offering an ideal opportunity to rack up points early. The trip to Wolves should be prime for attacking returns as Wolves are always a team to target. They have two tough fixtures to end the month with returning to St. James’ Park for Aston Villa before heading to Anfield to face Liverpool but both should not shy you away from leaning on Newcastle players this month.

Tough EPL Fixtures: Bournemouth face a nightmare January with home fixtures against Arsenal and Tottenham to start the month, then travel to Brighton before hosting Liverpool. They finish with an away trip to Wolves. This is a relentless schedule that will challenge their defensive structure and limit attacking opportunities. Crystal Palace begin with an away trip to Newcastle, then host Aston Villa before traveling to Sunderland. They return home for Chelsea and close the month with a trip to Nottingham Forest. Manager confidence should be minimal for these squads in January.
