Week 20 – Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The week 20 EPL waiver wire continues to be vital during the busy holiday schedule, and Fantrax managers saw rotation during midweek games. Be ready for more movement in lineups.

Week 19 top choice Luke Shaw scored 10 points, even though Wolves were able to score and earn a 1-1 tie. Jesus could not build on his previous solid game, as Everton shut out the Bees. Yasin Ayari was not part of either of the 2 Brighton goals and was also disappointing. Lewis Miley continued his solid but not spectacular scoring.

Week 20 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

Week 20 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.

Callum Wilson – Forward – Rostered 35% – Wolves vs West Ham

Anytime Fantrax managers have a chance to get a forward playing against the worst team and defense in the EPL, they should be considering looking this way. Wilson has four goals on the season in his seven starts and 16 total appearances. He’s not a sure starter. West Ham loaned out Niclas Füllkrug, who has been disappointing, so there’s one less person who could play up front for West Ham. Managers looking for a forward with some upside this weekend should be looking at West Ham attackers like Wilson on the EPL waiver wire.

Lewis Dunk – Defender – Rostered 18% – Brighton vs Burnley

Brighton needs to turn things around as they haven’t won in six games, and luckily, they host Burnley, who haven’t won in 10 games. Dunk has started all but one of Brighton’s games this season, so he’s sure to start in a good home matchup. Dunk has the ability to score points even without a shutout or goals. This match should be no different, and there’s a chance at big points as well.

Tyler Dibling- Midfielder – Rostered 14% – Everton vs Brentford

With rotation needed due to injuries and AFCON, Dibbling has stepped into a starting role for Everton. He’s been solid on both sides of the ball, picking up fantasy points for attacking and defending stats. Everton travel back home after two keeping two clean sheets on the road. Everton sit just above Brentford in the table, so both teams will be pushing to for keep moving up the table.

Oliver Scarles – Midfielder – Rostered 1% – Wolves vs West Ham

West Ham continues to struggle and hasn’t won in eight games. The game against last-place Wolves is a must-win for the Hammers if they want to move out of the relegation zone. Scarles has now started three straight for West Ham, and his last outing showed potential to be a solid Fantrax midfielder. He took some corners and had two key passes, along with a handful of defensive stats. Fantrax managers will have to wait and see if he’s worth a long-term roster spot, but in a game against Wolves, he certainly should be looked at on the EPL waiver wire.

The transfer window is open, so keep your eyes open as players are moving in and out. Go with matchups and your gut. Watch for rotation. Have fun. Good luck!
