Fantasy EPL Draft – October EPL Fixtures

Here are the teams with the best set of EPL fixtures for October. Players on these teams have added value based on who they are playing.

October presents a clear divide between the haves and have-nots when it comes to fixture difficulty. Leeds United and Wolves (yes, Wolves) enjoy particularly favorable runs that make their assets worth targeting, while Fulham and Nottingham Forest face a gauntlet that could stifle even their best performers.

We’re switching the format up this month. Instead of general takes on fantasy assets, we’ll be giving direct player suggestions for October. This month’s recommendations are broken into three categories to help you make lineup decisions:

* Start = confidence to play them regardless OR riding the hot hand with good fixtures

* Stream/Rotate = matchup-dependent or short-term value plays

* Bench = own but don’t use, or consider dropping for better options for the month

Favorable EPL Fixtures: Leeds United hosts Tottenham before traveling to Burnley and hosting West Ham. While Spurs present a challenge, playing at Elland Road gives Leeds a fighting chance, and the Burnley and West Ham fixtures are highly winnable. Wolverhampton welcome Brighton to Molineux, travel to Sunderland, and then host Burnley. After nearly stealing a result against Tottenham this past weekend, Wolves should use October’s favorable schedule to climb the table.

• Rotate: Sean Longstaff (9.33 FP/G), Gabriel Gudmundsson (5.5 FP/G)
• Bench: Dan James (2.44), Noah Okafor (6.94)

Wolverhampton (Brighton Hove Albion, @Sunderland, Burnley)

• Start: Hugo Bueno (8.5 FP/G), Jorgen Strand Larsen (3.94 FP/G but should be getting back to full health)
• Rotate: Jhon Arias (4.5 FP/G), Santiago Bueno (12.25 FP/G),
• Bench: Joao Gomes (4.79 FP/G)

Tough EPL Fixtures: Fulham’s month is brutal, with trips to Bournemouth and Newcastle sandwiched around a home date with Arsenal. Nottingham Forest aren’t much better, traveling to Newcastle and Bournemouth while hosting Chelsea. Be wary of Fulham and Nottingham assets this month.
