When it comes to making pitching lineup decisions for fantasy managers, April can be the trickiest month of the season. Not only are we going off of limited sample sizes to make decisions, but there’s also unique weather conditions to factor in as well. For instance, Minnesota Twins pitcher Joe Ryan got his first home start of the season last week with a gametime temperature of just over 40 degrees. These conditions can affect both a pitchers grip as well as movement upon delivery. That’s why I factor in the pitching venue a bit more heavily this time of year when assigning a start confidence scores for all pitcher outings. The hope is that these starting pitcher rankings help you make the right lineup decisions this week and the remaining weeks of early spring.
What?! Your fantasy baseball league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season? Preposterous! Check out what the Fantrax MLB Commissioner has to offer and we think you’ll be singing a different tune for the 2025 MLB season.
