Top 20 Milwaukee Brewers Prospects for Dynasty Leagues

The Milwaukee Brewers have found a franchise cornerstone in Jackson Choruio and will be trying to build a winner around him. They made it to the playoffs but were eliminated quickly. In an attempt to make a deeper playoff run, they traded Devin Williams away and added Nestor Cortes along with Caleb Durbin. The team will look similar to last season but without Willy Adames.

Jesus Made is the big story of the Brewers farm system. He went from largely unknown to a top-20 prospect in the blink of an eye. Overall, Milwaukee has some depth with their prospects, but many of the higher-ranked players are still young. There are some very talented players, but they are at least a year away. The Brewers also have not shied away from drafting high school arms which is exciting, but risky.

Top 20 Milwaukee Brewers Prospects for Dynasty Leagues

1. SS Jesus Made, Age: 17

The hype train for Jesus Made took off this offseason. It’s really hard to believe a player who hasn’t played above the DSL is garnering this much attention, but he is. There are many who believe he has a chance to wind up as baseball’s top prospect at some point. Made will turn 18 during his stateside debut in 2025. In 2024 he slashed .331/.458/.554 with six home runs and 28 stolen bases. All indications right now point towards Made as a high-end prospect with a bevy of above-average or better tools at his peak. There is a lot of risk and time involved if he is going to reach his potentially huge ceiling.

2. SS Cooper Pratt, Age: 20

In his first full professional season, Cooper Pratt made a huge jump from sixth-round pick to one of the organization’s top prospects. As a 19-year-old he slashed .277/.362/.406 with eight home runs and 27 stolen bases in Low-A and High-A. Pratt has good bat-to-ball skills and should have the chance to hit for more power than he did last season. With his ability to steal bases, if that power comes to fruition, even if it’s not top-end power, he should be able to fill up several categories. It’s likely he will return to High-A, but a quick start would likely mean he moves up quickly.

3. C Jeferson Quero, Age: 22

A labrum injury cost Jefferson Quero his 2024 season after just a single plate appearance. The year prior he established himself as one of the games top catching prospects by hitting .262 with 16 home runs as a 20-year-old in Double-A. Already on the 40-man roster, a healthy Quero should head back to Triple-A to start the year. With all his offensive potential, he is blocked as a catcher by William Contreras. That could mean Quero winds up moving off the position. It also would allow the Brewers to give him a full, healthy season in the minors before making a decision.

4. 3B Eric Bitonti, Age: 19

When Eric Bitonti debuted professionally following the 2023 draft, he was just 17 years old. Last season he started on the Complex before a promotion to Single-A. On the year he hit .282 with 16 home runs with a 16.5 percent walk rate. That did come with a 27.9 percent strikeout rate, however. His swing and miss is concerning, but the power upside is enticing. Especially considering he will be 19 years old for the entire 2025 season. Despite his power playing in Single-A, he will likely return there with hopes of hitting a little more.

5. RHP Jacob Misiorowski, Age: 22

The elite stuff of Jacob Misiorowski is hard to ignore. He can touch triple digits with a huge slider that can generate a lot of whiffs, as evidenced by posting strikeout rates over 30 percent. His 14 percent walk rate is where the potential starting profile falls apart. The Brewers may eventually want to move him into a relief role. The team has spoken about not stretching this out this year, but not ruling it out in the future. In the short term, it’s probably safe to think of him as a reliever.

6. 3B Luke Adams, Age: 20

Milwaukee selected Luke Adams in the 12th round of the 2022 draft. He spent last season in High-A where he hit 11 home runs and 28 stolen bases. Even more impressive was that he walked at an 18.7 percent clip. Adams’ patience is not at the expense of his strikeout rate, which was 21.2 percent. The numbers are enough to garner attention, and he will have a chance to repeat them starting in Double-A in 2025.

7. 2B Caleb Durbin, Age: 25

When the Brewers traded Devin Williams to the Yankees they received Nestor Cortes and Caleb Durbin. The lone prospect in the deal doesn’t appear destined to hold that status for long. Durbin is on the Brewers 40-man roster and is projected to at least win a bench role. He has played almost every position on the field at some point as a professional except for first base and right field. Regular playing time will be key, but his opportunity adds value. He’s a hit-first infielder who hit 10 home runs and stole 31 bases in the minors a year ago.

8. 1B Tyler Black, Age: 24

Since being the 33rd overall pick out of Wright State in 2021, Tyler Black has been slowly climbing through the ranks. He debuted last season, hitting .204 with a 29.8 percent strikeout rate in 57 plate appearances. While the small sample wasn’t ideal, he still hit .258 with 14 home runs and 20 stolen bases in Triple-A. His strikeout rate was a much lower 18.8 percent. Black should be better than his first taste of the majors, but there isn’t a clear spot for him in the Brewers lineup from the start of the season.

9. OF Braylon Payne, Age: 18

The Brewers 2024 first-round pick, Braylon Payne, has a very intriguing upside though it might take a while to reach it. In terms of fantasy baseball contributions, his speed likely be his calling card. If Payne can develop into power, then he will grow into a solid dynasty prospect. After signing Milwaukee assigned the then 17-year-old to Single-A where he hit .438 and stole 4 bases in just 19 plate appearances. Payne’s still several years away, which adds plenty of risk.

10. LHP Robert Gasser, Age: 25

Things were going great for Robert Gasser after he made his debut with the Brewers before going under the knife for Tommy John Surgery. In his 28 MLB innings, he posted a 2.57 ERA with a 5.14 K/9. Gasser filled the zone up and kept the walks down, too. While his strikeout rate was not eye-popping, his minor league numbers indicate more were coming. He will miss the entire 2025 season but is a solid hold candidate for 2026.

11. 1B/3B Mike Boeve, Age: 22

Mike Boeve was the 54th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. In his first full season, he spent most of the time in Double-A where he hit .306 with six home runs. There is some promise of power on the way, but right now he’s clinging to fantastic bat-to-ball skills. If he starts to hit more home runs, his ability to hit the ball will make him dangerous. If the power doesn’t show up, he will be a corner infielder who can hit for average.

12. RHP Logan Henderson, Age: 22

This offseason the Brewers added Logan Henderson to the 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft. He’s a command specialist who posted an 11.51 K/9 last season across three levels. Despite that, his heavy reliance on a changeup and a fastball that tops out at 95 MPH might not generate the kind of whiff numbers that fantasy baseball managers are looking for. That being said, Henderson very clearly has a starter’s profile and will be an option when rotation injuries start to happen.

13. 3B Brock Wilken, Age: 22

Before the 2024 season started Brock Wilken’s power gave him some fantasy helium. That power showed out for 17 Double-A home runs during the season, but he hit .199 with a 28.2 percent strikeout rate. As the numbers suggest there are some serious concerns with his ability to make contact. The power is real. If he can hit more, then his value will go back up. If not, then his stock will continue to fall.

14. OF Yophery Rodrguez, Age: 19

As an 18-year-old Yophery Rodriguez posted a 117 wRC+ in Single-A. He hit .250 with seven home runs and seven stolen bases. There’s a chance that Rodriguez develops into a player who can do a little bit of everything. While he may never stand out in a particular category, he should hit some home runs, steal some bases, and with a 12.2 percent walk rate he can provide an OBP bump. His age-to-level success was good, but he will have to continue to show that in High-A in 2025.

15. RHP Bishop Letson, Age: 20

When Milwaukee has a pitcher with loud stuff, it’s worth paying attention to. Bishop Letson fits that mold. He gets his fastball into the upper-90’s with a good slider to go with it. In 2024 Letson threw 63.1 innings in Single-A with an 8.10 K/9. This is a risky bet, but his upside might be worth taking the risk in deeper dynasty leagues.

16. RHP Craig Yoho, Age: 25

After trading away Devin Williams in the offseason, the Brewers have another prospect with a nasty changeup getting a good amount of attention during Spring Training. His name is Craig Yoho. Combined across four different levels, Yoho posted an insane 15.76 K/9 through 57 innings last year. That includes an 11.30 K/9 in 14/1 Triple-A innings. He’s a relief prospect, but he may one day follow his changeup to be a legitimate leverage weapon for Milwaukee.

17. SS Luis Pena, Age: 18

Though all the attention went to Jesus Made, there was another player who had plenty of success in the DSL. Luis Pena hit .393 with 39 stolen bases at the level in 2024. He profiles as a speedy infielder with good contact skills. If he can post a high average and steal bases, that should be enough to help fantasy baseball lineups. Pena will most likely head to Single-A in 2025.

18. RHP Josh Knoth, Age: 19

When an 18-year-old makes his professional debut in Single-A and posts a 10.25 K/9 in 84.1 innings, that is noteworthy. Josh Knoth did just that. He has a pair of breaking pitches that move a ton and a fastball that gets into the mid-90s. With his loud stuff, his ceiling is very high. Knoth will have to work on lowering his 4.27 BB/9, but he still showed a lot of promise in his first season. It was recently announced that he will miss the upcoming season after undergoing Tommy John Surgery.

19. RHP Bryce Meccage, Age: 18

The Brewers’ 2024 second-round pick will be getting set to make his professional debut in 2025. He has baseball bloodlines and a very good arsenal to build on. Meccage tops out in the mid-90s with a really good feel to spin breaking balls. High school pitchers are historically the riskiest group, but they usually have plenty of potential to dream on. Meccage is no different.

20. RHP Brett Wichrowski, Age: 22

Brett Wichrowski garnered some attention by hitting triple digits early last season and dominating in High-A. After a promotion, he wasn’t able to recreate that success in Biloxi. His K/9 dropped from 12.89, albeit in just 14.2 innings, to 7.39 across 74.1 innings. There is some promise of a starter or maybe a mid-leverage bullpen role, but to be more fantasy relevant he will need to recapture the swing-and-miss stuff in 2025.
