The Week 13 EPL Waiver Wire arrives with a reminder that anything can happen in the EPL. Last week Liverpool lost 3-0 at home. Manchester City fell to Newcastle.
Week 12 suggestions fell due to the unexpected nature of the EPL. Nico O’Reilly and Manchester City disappointed in a tough loss to Newcastle, but travel to 18th-place Leeds. Brighton duo Jan-Paul van Hecke and Diego Gómez underwhelmed, even though Brighton won 2-1 over Brentford. Aston Villa won, but Buendia was subbed at half.

Week 13 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 13 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
John McGinn – Midfielder – Rostered 45% – Aston Villa vs Wolves
McGinn has been a driving force behind Villa’s climb into 4th place on the EPL table. He’s started in all 12 games. McGinn is a more of a defensive player, but he does have a goal to his name. The in-form Villa host last-place Wolves, who have yet to win and have the worst goals for and against records in the EPL. It’s a great match-up for Villa players and McGinn.
Yeremy Pino – Midfielder – Rostered 40% – Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Pino finally got his first goal for Palace. A lot was expected of Pino when he arrived, and his goal against Wolves showed the quality that Pino has. Palace have climbed into 5th place, and they have three straight shutouts. Pino will want to build on the goal, and Fantrax managers have a chance to capitalize on the opportunity to roster a high ceiling player on the EPL waiver wire.
Piero Hincapié – Defender – Rostered 35% – Chelsea vs Arsenal
With an injury to Gabriel, Hincapié came in against Spurs in the 4-1 win. Cristhian Mosquera started mid-week in the Champions League, so Fantrax managers will need to be on the lookout for lineups. Arsenal have conceded just six goals this season in the EPL, but Chelsea, who are just behind the Gunners in the table, have scored 23 goals, second most in the league. This is a big game.
Sepp Van de Berg – Defender – Rostered 31% – Brentford vs Burnley
Van de Berg has started in all 12 of Brentford’s games and has, in fact, played every minute. He’s yet to score negative points, despite Brentford’s average defense. Brentford have been very good at home, having lost only to Manchester City this year. Burnley have lost three in a row, including being shut out twice, and they sit in 19th place.
Check injury news. Go with the matchups and your gut. Have fun. Good luck.
