2026 CFF: Your Week 2 G6 Sicko List

If you’ve been following my writing the last two seasons, you know I drop my real sicko takes on Thursdays — who did people leave behind that you can stick into your lineup-type stuff. This week, I’ll be revealing Your Week 2 G6 Sicko List for those looking to make those sneaky but savvy moves. In case you missed Monday’s article, Monday G6 Climbers: Names Closing In on 30% Before Tuesday, that one covers guys sitting close to that 30% rostership threshold who might not be there by the time you read this. Thursday is a different animal: these are deeper, streaming-purpose plays, typically not your league-winner type stuff, and definitely not the household names your league mates already have queued up.

Week 1 gave us plenty to sort through, and a handful of names stood out enough that they deserve a spot on your radar or in your lineup before Week 2 kicks off. Strap in — here’s who’s flying under the radar at every position, and why they shouldn’t be.

Note: All advanced stats I provide throughout the article are pulled from g5hive.com.

Your Week 2 G6 Sicko List

Quarterbacks

Will “Goose” Crowder, Troy

Fantrax Rostership: 4%
Total Fantasy Points: 29.5
Fantasy Points Per Game: 29.5 (6-point passing TDs)

For 6-point passing TD leagues, I want to highlight Will “Goose” Crowder. Troy plays Alabama State in Week 2, and I like what I saw from Crowder even in a game that looked like an offense still finding its footing. He threw for 3 touchdowns in a 24-21 win over Sam Houston — not bad, considering this offense played like it was still learning a new system. I also believe Troy gets its top playmaker at wide receiver, Howard Kinchen, back this week (more on him in last week’s article). I’d expect Crowder’s attempts to settle into the 24-28 range in Week 2, and I think he’ll keep getting more comfortable in this offense as the season goes on.

Kalieb Osborne, UConn

Fantrax Rostership: 19%
Total Fantasy Points: 41.6
Fantasy Points Per Game: 41.6 (4-point passing TDs)

In leagues that only start two quarterbacks, Osborne looks like a potential league-winner. In three-QB formats, he’s a solid piece. The Huskies draw Maryland in Week 2, which could skew his numbers, but I’m looking at him with a season-long lens here. Against Lafayette in Week 1, Osborne threw for 265 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception, then added 90 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground (with a fumble mixed in) on 8 carries. Worth noting: last season, Maryland’s defense allowed 24.34 PPG to opposing quarterbacks — 15th out of 18 teams in the Big Ten, and 23rd-worst among all Power 4 teams. That’s a soft matchup on paper for a dual-threat QB like Osborne.

Running Back

Dominic Kelley, Nevada

Fantrax Rostership: 19%
Total Fantasy Points: 27.2
Fantasy Points Per Game: 27.2

Kelley split carries with Herschel Turner in Week 1 against Western Kentucky, but a 72-yard touchdown run was the difference-maker in his day. Even setting that long run aside, Kelley still out-rushed Turner by 28 yards. Strip out the touchdown run and his yards-per-attempt drops from 13.8 to 8.0 — still 3.3 yards better than Turner managed. The matchup ahead is appealing: Montana State has been drubbing opponents through two weeks and forcing teams into obvious passing situations. Utah Tech managed just 58 rushing yards in a 54-0 loss, and Butler was held to 84 yards on the ground in a 51-24 loss. Given the game script I anticipate for this game, I think Kelley is a viable start against Montana State in Week 2.

Wide Receivers

One matchup, two defenses with glaring holes, and two receivers built to exploit them perfectly.

When a matchup features one defense bleeding points to the outside and the other bleeding points to the slot, you don’t just get one waiver wire play — you get two. That’s exactly what’s shaping up in Memphis-Boise State this week, and both offenses have a receiver perfectly positioned to cash in.

Rasean Jones, Boise State

Fantrax Rostership: 26%
Total Fantasy Points: 11.6
Fantasy Points Per Game: 11.6

Rasean Jones is averaging a 26.6% target share and lines up outside the vast majority of the time, with the occasional look from the slot. Memphis has struggled defending the outside so far this season, and Jones — the outside receiver who also leads Boise State in target share — is well-positioned to take advantage. It’s a strong setup for a breakout performance.

Jermane Hayes, Memphis — 0% rostered

Fantrax Rostership: 0%
Total Fantasy Points: 17.7
Fantasy Points Per Game: 8.8

Hayes is the other name worth watching in this matchup. His point totals so far — 5.2 against UNLV, 12.5 against Arkansas State — won’t jump off the page, but the context matters. Boise State’s defense is allowing 28.6 PPG to the slot, nearly a full PPR point per snap. Now, Boise did play Oregon in Week 1, but I’d still expect Memphis to find success attacking the slot in Week 2. Hayes is Memphis’s clear slot option, leading the team with a 22.2% target share across the first two weeks. Boise’s defense is exploitable there, and Memphis’s leading receiver through two games happens to be its slot man. The matchup favors a nice game from Hayes.

It’s also worth digging into how each defense runs its coverages and how these two receivers have performed against those specific looks — that context could sharpen your read on both plays.

Tight End

Brandon Young Jr., UTSA — dart throw of the week

Young caught 1 ball for a 7-yard touchdown in Week 1 against UT Rio Grande Valley. Texas State ranked as the fourth-worst G6 defense against tight ends in 2025.

Young scored all of his fantasy points last week against zone coverage, and Texas State ran zone 95.4% of the time in Week 1. If you’re in need of a tight end option this week, Young is my dart throw.

Your Week 2 G6 Sicko List

That’s Your Week 2 G6 Sicko List — a QB1 finding his footing in Troy’s new offense, a dual-threat option catching Maryland at the right time, a Nevada back stepping into a juicy Montana State script, and a matchup so good it gave us two sleepers for the price of one out in Memphis-Boise State. Throw in a dart throw at tight end, and you’ve got a full lineup’s worth of names your league mates are sleeping on.

I can’t wait to see what Week 2 has in store for us. I’ll be back with an article for you Monday — same drill, guys sitting right on that 30% threshold before they slip away. Until then, get your waivers in, sickos, and good luck in your Week 2 matchups!
