Week 24 suggestion, Crysencio Summerville, scored for his third game in a row in a tough 3-2 loss to Chelsea. He continues to look dangerous and should be rostered across leagues, especially against Burnley next week. Amine Adli supplied an assist in the 2-0 win for his third consecutive quality game. Ola Aina scored over double fantasy points, as he gobbled up defensive stats in their 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace. Kobbie Mainoo scored five Fantrax fantasy points, but he got another full 90. So if you’re looking for some consistency, he may be a way to turn.
Week 25 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 25 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Tammy Abraham – Forward – Rostered 50% – Bournemouth vs Aston Villa
Abraham is back in the EPL after some time away. It didn’t take long for him to get a start. He really should have scored in the shutout loss, and he displayed some of the pace and skill that made him a quality attacker. Ollie Watkins is dealing with an injury and has been inconsistent. There’s a chance when Ollie returns that they both get time, as Villa push for a top-four spot on the table. Abraham has a high upside. At this point in the season, finding quality forwards is not easy, especially one on a top-four team. Get him on your roster now if you can.
Fofana – Defender – Rostered 44% – Wolves vs Chelsea
Fofana was introduced at halftime when Chelsea was down 2-0. His assist in the 57th minute sparked the three-goal comeback. He looked energetic, and his performance may have earned him a chance for more time. Chelsea has a midweek game against Arsenal, so lineups for that game could affect rotation over the weekend. It’s a great matchup for Chelsea, as they travel to the worst team in the EPL. If it’s not Fofana, then managers should be considering all available Chelsea players on the EPL waiver wire.
Douglas Luiz – Midfielder – Rostered 30% – Bournemouth vs Aston Villa
Luiz has rejoined his former club on loan from Juventus after a lackluster first half of the season at Nottingham Forest. He looked more like the Luiz from a few seasons ago. With major injuries in the midfield, he’s being called upon to step in immediately, and it appears he will be the main set-piece taker, at least until people return from injuries. He went a full 90 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Brentford, and he almost scored 20 fantasy points. He’s a top midfielder this week.
Pablo – Forward – Rostered 11% – Burnley vs West Ham
This is the fourth week in a row that a West Ham player has made this list. Valentin Castellanos, Tomas Soucek, and Crysencio Summerville have been suggested over the last few weeks, and each generally has performed well for Fantrax managers. Pablo should be included in this list this week as West Ham travels to 19th-place Burnley in what is a must-win game for the Hammers, who are just above Burnley in the table. Burnley haven’t won an EPL game since October 20th. All Hammers should be looked at on the EPL waiver wire.
As always, check for team news and rotation, especially as new players come in and midweek games finalize. Go with the matchups and your gut. Have fun. Good luck.
