Week 3 G6 Climbers: Names Closing In on 30% Before Tuesday

Two weeks into the season and the waiver wire is starting to separate the pretenders from the real deal. In fact, several Week 3 G6 Climbers: Names Closing In on 30% Before Tuesday are standing out and demanding your attention. If you’re not paying attention, they’ll be gone before you even open the app on Tuesday. Here’s who I’m picking up heading into Week 3 — and why you shouldn’t wait to make your move.

There’s no such thing as too much football! 2026 is the perfect time to add the college game to your fantasy football repertoire. Whether you want to create your own league or join an existing league, the Fantrax College Football Commissioner is the place to go!

Week 3 G6 Climbers: Names Closing In on 30% Before Tuesday

Quarterback

Deuce Bailey, Coastal Carolina

Fantrax Rostership: 22%
Total Fantasy Points: 61
Fantasy Points Per Game: 30.5

Deuce Bailey has been enfuego. He threw for 373 yards and 3 TDs against West Virginia in Week 1, then followed that up with 203 yards passing and 3 TDs against Fordham. That’s resulted in 32.82 and 28.22 points, respectively, in 6-point passing TD leagues. Coastal Carolina has a Week 3 date with Delaware, and I expect Deuce to keep rolling. Look for his rostership to continue climbing this week as he closes in on that 30% mark come Tuesday.

Running Back

Patrick “PJ” Martin, South Alabama

Fantrax Rostership: 19%
Total Fantasy Points: 34.9
Fantasy Points Per Game: 17.3

Patrick “PJ” Martin is averaging 16 rushes a game. While he isn’t a complete zero in the passing game, don’t expect much out of the receiving department. Martin now has two weeks of double-digit points: 14.1 against South Louisiana and 20.5 against Tulane. South Alabama draws Ohio in Week 3, and the matchup is friendly — in Week 1 against Nebraska, Ohio allowed 248 rushing yards and 4 TDs, and in Week 2 against Jacksonville State, the Gamecocks ran for 286 yards and 2 TDs. Look for Martin to keep piling up double-digit carries and, in turn, another double-digit fantasy performance.

Wide Receiver

Ashton Hollins, Georgia Southern

Fantrax Rostership: 14%
Total Fantasy Points: 43.3
Fantasy Points Per Game: 21.7

Ashton Hollins has 20 targets over two weeks — 11 against Charleston Southern and 9 against Clemson — turning those opportunities into 13 receptions for 203 yards and 43.3 fantasy points against a range of competition. His strong outing against Clemson is starting to make me feel like Hollins is matchup-proof. Roll him out there with confidence in Week 3 against Jacksonville State.

Tight End

Hunter Tipton, Memphis

Fantrax Rostership: 30%
Total Fantasy Points: 55.1
Fantasy Points Per Game: 18.4

Hunter Tipton just had a MONSTER week against Boise State: nine receptions on ten targets for 229 yards and a touchdown. He now has 17.1 yards per reception with longs of 16, 22, and 87 on the season. What has me most excited is his usage — the Tigers split him out wide and used him as a mismatch nightmare for the defense. If Tipton can put up this kind of performance against a defense like Boise State’s, I can’t imagine what’s in store for him the rest of the season. Get your claim in today, because I expect his rostership to skyrocket come Tuesday.

Week 3 G6 Climbers: Names Closing In on 30% Before Tuesday

That’s your Week 3 climbers list, but not all four names are created equal. I’d be shocked if Hunter Tipton isn’t past that 30% mark by Tuesday — that performance against Boise State is going to get noticed. Deuce Bailey is the one to watch closest; he’s knocking on the door, but I’m not ready to call it a lock just yet. Hollins and Martin, meanwhile, I don’t expect to cross that threshold by Tuesday, which makes them the two names still worth prioritizing if you’re picking your spots. I’ll be back with my sicko waiver pickups Thursday — same deep dive, different level of degeneracy. Until then, get your claims in.
