Fantrax managers should be focusing on the teams with two games this week on the EPL waiver wire: Manchester City, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Brighton, Leeds, and Burnley. It’s worth taking a chance on players with double the opportunity to score points.

Week 32 suggestion, Beto, scored a goal in Everton’s 2-2 draw, bringing his season tally to seven. Even in a 2-0 loss, Zian Flemming scored average points, and if he’s available, he should still be picked up for Burnley’s double week. The same is true of Jaka Bijol, who scored solid points and will play twice in week 33 also. Jaydee Canvot rounded out a solid week of suggestions with over eight points.
Week 33 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 33 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
James Ward-Prowse – Midfielder – Rostered 42% – Nottingham Forest vs Burnley, Burnley vs Manchester City
JWP has another solid week, although he remains inconsistent week to week. Over a two-game stretch, the odds are in his favor to return good points, especially as he continues to be a their key player on set pieces. If he starts in their first game against Forrest, managers should roll the dice and start JWP. If not, their second game against City is less enticing. He’s on the ball often, so there may be points to be had, but there is some risk in this pick.
Jack Hinshelwood – Midfielder – Rostered 25% – Brighton vs Tottenham, Chelsea vs Brighton
Hinselwood isn’t a big name or putting up massive points, but he looks like a sure starter, which over a two games is key. They host Spurs, who currently sit in the relegation zone. Chelsea needs the win, as they’ve slipped into 6th. Brighton has won three in a row and five of their last six. They have moved up the table and are playing well. He’s active and grabbing stats, which equals points. Managers should like his consistency over the two games.
Jayden Bogle – Defender – Rostered 22% – Leeds vs Wolves, Bournemouth vs Leeds
Bogle continues to impress in his recent starts for Leeds, with double-digit points and generally good performances in his last two starts. He’s getting key passes and shots to go with his normal defensive stats. He should start both games, too, so there’s double the chance to pick up those stats. Leeds probably has the best matchup of all the teams with double game weeks. Leeds keeper Karl Darlow should also be an option on the EPL waiver wire for managers looking for one.
Abdukodir Khusanov – Defender – Rostered 15% – Manchester City vs Arsenal, Burnley vs Manchester City
There aren’t many Manchester City players left on the EPL waiver wire at this point in the season. The young defender is available, though. Injuries have given him a chance to start, and he’s done well. He has seven clearances over his last two, adding a shot in each. City kept a clean sheet as well in one of those. City hosts Arsenal, who are struggling on the offensive end, then travels to 19th-place Burnley. One always has to worry about rotation with Pep, but if you’re looking for a way into the City double week, the defender is a solid option.
Go with doubles when and where you can. But also be prepared for week 34, as you’ll need to fill those sports. Go with matchups and your gut. Have fun. Good luck.
