Week 3 NFL Prop Plays (DraftKings)

Josh Jacobs Over 18.5 Rushing Attempts (-115)

With the Green Bay Packers favored by 7.5 points over the Cleveland Browns this week, in fact, I’m surprised it’s not higher, there figures to be an emphasis on the ground game. So far this season, that has been led by Josh Jacobs in Green Bay. And quite frankly, it hasn’t even been close.

Through the first two weeks of the season, Jacobs has 19 and 23 carries, respectively. The results have also followed suit, with Jacobs gaining 150 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Green Bay already seems to be managing Jacobs’ workload in practice, which sets him up well for Sunday. It’s going to come down to the wire, but look for Jacobs to eclipse 19 carries against the Browns.

Davante Adams Over 59.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

It only took a week, but the Los Angeles Rams have fully gotten Davante Adams involved with their offense. However, even in Week 1, Adams still came nine yards within of hitting the over on his yardage prop for this week.

To begin the season, Adams caught four of his eight targets for 51 yards. Last week, he was a lot busier as Matthew Stafford targeted him 13 times. The workload is certainly a plus, but his performance could have, in fact, been a lot better. Stafford translated that into just six catches, although big plays were certainly present. Adams finished with 106 yards and a touchdown as he quickly became comfortable with his veteran quarterback.

In what should be a competitive and high-scoring game, the Rams will be highlighting Adams once again. He’s certainly capable of delivering on a very conservative number.

Bijan Robinson Over 111.5 Combined Rushing and Receiving Yards (-113)

Let’s just keep on going with Bijan Robinson. It’s clear that the Atlanta running back is one of the best players in football. And through the first two weeks of the season, Robinson has certainly performed that way. What’s even better is the fact that the Falcons have also remembered that fact, and they are utilizing Robinson in that way.

In Week 1, Robinson was flat-out terrible on the ground. He carried the ball 12 times and gained just 24 yards on the ground. However, despite that, he still would have hit the yardage prop we are targeting for Week 3. That’s because Robinson was targeted seven times, which turned into six receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Last week, we didn’t need Robinson the receiver to hit this yardage prop. In a game that the Falcons controlled without issue, in Minnesota, Robinson gained 143 yards on the ground with 25 carries. He only caught three passes for 25 yards, but that’s truly game flow dependent.

This week should be similar for Robinson and the Falcons. It’s a favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers, and Robinson should be busy on the ground. There’s also an opportunity for him to make an impact on the ground, which is why we’re targeting the over on 111.5 combined rushing and receiving yards.
