Week 3 NFL Player Props (FanDuel Sportsbook)
Rhamondre Stevenson Over 11.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Heading into the season, the general thought process was that TreVeyon Henderson was going to take the reins of New England’s backfield. However, through the first two weeks of the season, that hasn’t exactly been the case.
While Henderson has been involved, it’s still the incumbent who has been carrying the load in New England’s backfield. It might shift as the season progresses, but for now, Rhamondre Stevenson has been having success. Well, at least last week that was the case as the Patriots looked a lot better than they did in Week 1.
Last week, Stevenson gained 54 yards on 11 carries, but it was what he did as a receiver that caught my attention. Drake Maye is struggling to find consistent receiving options, so it makes sense that he would look to the security of his running back. That happened in a large way last week as Stevenson caught all five of his targets for 88 yards. Even when the Patriots’ offense was less than ideal, Stevenson still caught two passes for 12 yards. That puts him past this week’s receiving prop.
Elic Ayomanor Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Welcome to the NFL, Elic Ayomanor. Acclimating to action in the NFL is never an easy task for rookies. However, through the first two weeks of the season, things have looked pretty good for Ayomanor.
Through the offseason, Training Camp, and the preseason, Ayomanor showed a strong chemistry with fellow rookie quarterback Cam Ward. In Week 1, things seemingly went slowly for the rookie receiver as he caught just two passes for 13 yards. However, Ayomanor was targeted seven times so it illustrates his role in Tennessee’s offense.
Last week, Ayomanor was tied for the lead with six targets, and he turned that into four catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. At this point, I wouldn’t expect Ayomanor to go backwards. His yardage prop for Week 3 is a manageable number, and in reality, he can hit it with just one or two catches.

Brian Thomas Over 62.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Perhaps there is some measure of wishful thinking for those who drafted Brian Thomas in fantasy leagues. But this has to be the week that Thomas breaks out, right? And at 62.5 receiving yards, does that even reflect a breakout, or just a solid game?
So far this season, Thomas hasn’t even reached 62.5 receiving yards on a combined basis. In Week 1, Thomas caught just one pass for 11 yards before getting to four catches for 49 yards last week. That stat line would potentially push someone to the under on Thomas’ player prop, but I think that’s intentional.
Quite simply, Thomas is just too good here. This week’s matchup against the Houston Texans should be what Thomas needs. He’s too good to be this bad at the start of the season. Last year, Thomas would truly scoff at this number, so let’s target the over and shoot for a Week 3 bounce-back.
