Welcome back, it is Friday, and that means it is time once again for Money Makers and Heart Breakers!
But before we get into football, I want to dedicate this week’s article to someone who defines toughness far beyond the fantasy field, my good friend Larry Burns.
Larry and I met years ago when we were bouncers at the Palace Night Club in the Boston area. I met Larry when we had to watch a video of a meeting we both skipped. We hit it off immediately, and I knew Larry was the kind of guy who always had your back. Larry looked more like a little choir boy with his rosy, red cheeks, but make no mistake, he was tough as nails. Later, we worked together at Grainger, and that same loyalty, that same grit, and keep-moving-forward attitude never faded.
Larry is also the guy who taught me how to play Fantasy Football, so you can all blame him for things like this article and my involvement in this game we all love. I used to make fun of him for playing fantasy football, and look what happened to me.
Well, 2025 proved to be a tough year for Larry. The real fight came. Larry was diagnosed with brain cancer; he had a tumor the size of a peach in his head. Doctors removed it, leaving him with 136 staples on his head. Then came weeks upon weeks of radiation therapy. Most people would’ve been knocked flat. Not Larry. He never got down, never complained, and never stopped driving himself to treatment (If you didn’t know, most people are not physically capable of that). He stayed upbeat and positive the whole way through.
In the middle of this, we talked about some of the things we faced in other real-life fights, and I told him he was a Honey Badger. Because Larry doesn’t care about the odds, he is a warrior, and he just keeps fighting. This was the toughest fight of all. And he won. He beat the odds with heart, toughness, and relentless willpower.
This year, every holiday, every birthday, and every day will be the best day ever for Larry. His story reminds us that no matter what you’re facing, a rough fantasy week or a literal battle of life and death, attitude and the desire to fight mean everything. So, this week, please take a moment and remember that most things we think are important mean nothing in the grand scheme of life. Think of Larry “Honey Badger” Burns. His fight for his life and how he overcame it all with a smile and a is now a bald head. I thank god every day that my friend is alive.
Thanks for reading.

Week 7 NFL DFS Money Makers
💰 Money Makers
Quarterbacks
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
He is playing against the Cowboys in Week 7. The Cowboys give up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks. The Cowboys give up 286 yards and 3 touchdowns per week to quarterbacks. Even Bryce Young passed for 3 touchdowns against them. It is also the highest over-under on the slate at 55 points. You know Daniels is great already. He has the best match-up of the week on top of being a stud. Pay up in DFS, its worth it in Week 7

$8,700 on FanDuel
Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
Let me tell you something about Caleb Williams. In good match-ups, he delivers. Every time. In Week 7, the Bears are playing the Saints. The Saints give up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Caleb has multiple touchdowns in 4 out of 5 games this season. You can look to Caleb to have another 250 yards or so and multiple touchdowns in Week 7.

$7,900 on FanDuel
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
We have mentioned that the Cowboys-Commanders game has the highest over/under at 55 points. Right now, Dak is the overall QB3 in fantasy football. In his last three games, Dak has 11 touchdowns, 10 passing, and 1 rushing. The Commanders give up the 9th most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. This is going to be a shoot-out and Dak is coming fully armed.

Running Backs
Quinton Judkins, Cleveland Browns
The Browns play the Dolphins in Week 7. The Dolphins’ defense has been destroyed by Rico Dowdle and Kimani Vidal in the past two games. In three out of the last four games, Judkins has gone for over 100 yards or a touchdown. This is a great bounce-back spot for Judkins.
$6,000 on DraftKings
$7,400 on FanDuel
Jordan Mason, Minnesota Vikings
The Eagles are up next for Jordan Mason. He is coming off a bye week, so he will be very prepared for a defense that does not defend the run well. The Eagles give up the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. He scored 3 touchdowns in total in his last three games. Look for Mason to punch one in.
$6,200 on DraftKings
$6,900 on FanDuel
Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
Jacobs has scored 2 touchdowns in each of his last two games. He has yet another smash match-up in Week 7 against the Cardinals. The Cardinals’ defense has given up a double-digit fantasy day to a running back every single game this season. A running back has scored a touchdown in every single game against them this season. Jacobs will most definitely be a good play in Week 7.

Wide Receivers
Deebo Samuel, Washington Commanders
The Commanders play the Cowboys, BOOM! The Cowboys give up 12 receptions, 16 yards, and 2 touchdowns per week to wide receivers. Deebo has not practiced this week, nor has Terry McLaurin as of the writing of this article. Which means I will pivot to Luke McCaffrey if Deebo is out.
$6,200 on DraftKings
$7,100 on FanDuel
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
The Broncos will play the Giants in Week 7. The Giants give up the third most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Sutton is coming off a 3-target, 1-reception game, so people will most likely be avoiding him due to recency bias. Plug him this week and next week against the Cowboys.
$5,900 on DraftKings
$7,700 on FanDuel
Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
In the past 2 games, Ladd has been conking other teams on the head. He has a total of 16 targets, 12 receptions, 139 yards, and 2 touchdowns over those two games. The Colts and their pass funnel defense are up in Week 7. This is a nice spot for a guy who is back on track right now.

Tight Ends
Mason Taylor, New York Jets
In the past three games, the Carolina Panthers’ defense has given up a touchdown to a tight end in each game. Take a wild guess who the Jets are playing in Week 7. Wow, you are good, the Panthers. This is a get-right game for Mason. With Garrett Wilson dinged up, there is a good chance Mason will be Justin Fields’ primary target in Week 7.
$3,400 on DraftKings
$4,7700 on FanDuel
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
The Packers will play the Cardinals in Week 7. The Cardinals give up the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Kraft has scored a touchdown in 3 out of 5 games this season. The matchup is right for him to get a fourth touchdown in Week 7.

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles

Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins

DEF
Dolphins
The Browns are the next opponent for the Dolphins. The Browns allow opposing defenses to score the fourth most fantasy points. Only the pathetic Vikings defense has failed to post top fantasy points against the Browns. The Dolphins’ defense is nothing special, but against a rookie quarterback, they should get a few sacks and an interception.
$3,400 on DraftKings
$3,8000 on FanDuel
Patriots
The Patriots are a good real-life defense. In Week 7 they play the Titans. I like to pick on the Titans with a defense every week because defenses average 12.33 fantasy points against the Titans. The Titans give up 4.2 sacks per game. Expect the Patriots to hit Cam Ward often.
$3,600 on DraftKings
$5,000 on FanDuel
Chiefs
The Chiefs get to play the Raiders in Week 7. The raiders give up 3 sacks and 2 interceptions pr game to opposing teams’ defenses. I do not think the Chiefs are an especially good defense, I do think they will be good this week.
$3,700 on DraftKings
$4,500 on FanDuel

💔Heart Breakers
Quarter Backs
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
The Giants will play the Broncos in Week 7. Only 1 quarterback has surpassed 20 fantasy points against the Broncos this season. In six games, three quarterbacks have not even scored more than 5 fantasy points against this defense. Dart should be somewhere in the middle of that. Some may think he is a big New York City heartthrob, but this week he is just a heartbreaker.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
The Cleveland Browns’ defense is good. The Miami offense is not good. Do you want me to write anything else? I’m not. This is enough if you were playing Tua. I feel sorry for You-ah.
Gino Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
Gino may just become a weekly Heart Breaker. Jakobi Meyers looks like he will be out, Brock Bowers looks like he will be out. I will play the Chiefs’ defense and definitely not play Gino. I hope the bruises heal fast, Gino. This week, you can call him Gee-NO. Want me to stop? OK, I will stop.
Running Backs
Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals play the Packers in Week 7. The Packers give up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Without a touchdown last week, Bam would have been close to useless. Now he gets a tough match-up as part of a three-headed running back committee. No, thank you.
Trevor Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars
Etienne has been somewhat solid this season. But this week, he faces a Rams team that is a pass funnel. They defend the run well. Look for the game script to take Etienne out of running. He may get involved in the passing game. But I am avoiding him in DFS.
De’Von Achane, Miami Dolphins
No one defends the run better than the Browns. Unfortunately for Achane, he gets to play against the Browns this week. For this week, Achane is a touchdown-dependent running back. Scoring a touchdown is the only way any running back gets more than 10 fantasy points against the Browns. Play him in season-long, but avoid him in DFS.
Wide Receivers
AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
AJ Brown has not been very good this season. He still has all the talent in the world, but it’s been play-calling removing him from the game script. The Eagles’ offensive coordinator may be out of a job at the end of the season. To top it off, the Vikings,s who give up the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers, are up in Week 7. You weren’t playing him in DFS anyway, but I will still tell you not to.
Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants
Robinson will probably still see volume this week against the Broncos. But the Broncos give up the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. If you need him in season-long play him. Just expect a little less.
Michael Pittman, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts play the Chargers in Week 7. The Chargers give up the third fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Daniel Jones also seems to be spreading the ball around to his wide receivers, so there is no guarantee Pittman would be the guy getting the volume this week. You are the Pitts man.
Tight Ends
TJ Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings
You know who is tough on tight ends? The Eagles. The Eagles give up the third-fewest amount of fantasy points to tight ends. I do not know who will be the quarterback for the Vikings this week, as JJ McCarthy may be back. YUCK. I just threw up in my mouth, yuck if JJ starts.
Michael Mayer, Los Vegas Raiders
I know it is not Halloween, but I love the Halloween movies. The ones with Michael Myers. So, when I see Michael Mayer I always think of those movies. This week, Michael Mayer is a scary play, maybe even as scary as Michael Myers. Bad match-up, even if he was the only pass catcher the Raiders have.
